An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists"

I've been looking into it. As you said, the site come back live within 5 minutes.
Adam is more the technical guy, he will be back in town in a couple days.

I still get it occasionally as well. It's usually gone if I wait 5 mins though, so nbd.

I am getting the mySQL error quite a bit lately. Waiting a few minutes usually works. When I am able to get on after this error, I see only five (or so) users plus the Google Bot. Doesn't look like this site is getting overused at these times. It might be time to put up a poll and see if paid user subscriptions could take this forum to a dedicated server/service. I'd be willing to pony up some each month for this site.

We are working behind the scenes on installing a few modifications that will help the problem out.
Thanks for being patient everyone. Worst case scenario is we switch hosts (no downtime).

Not to sound impatient, but I've been getting a lot of these today. Any update on the modifications?

Same here... I've been getting these since Friday. I think this site is on a shared host and the box can't handle the sites at the same time... or there's something screwy with the hardware/software.

Thanks, guys!
