I was wondering that there were no Black Friday Specials by Legends. But now they have some. :)

And why is the Serpentine only available in a brick?

Didn't order because of that.
When i noticed these new decks i wanted to order 3 Black Serpentines but was only able to put 1 in my cart.
But that 1 deck got sold
I contacted them like 1 hour ago about the inventory issue and waiting for an answer.

I've contacted them as well. Hopefully they respond soon enough or fix it. They don't seem to be very active on social media unfortunately.

Got the Petroglyphs and a few others that were on sale. $9 international shipping for 1-6 decks? Yes, please!

I remember the courts from Digital Petroglyphs in a thread long ago, glad to see them as actual cards. It's just now I gotta wait 3-4 weeks for them.

Now the black brick of Serpentine is sold out. Guess we won't see a single deck in black.

Still no answer from Legends,...
When i noticed that decks, there was only 1 single black deck available.
I don't believe that these are completely sold out, as the Red & Blue (Printrun of 1000) still there after 2 years.

Hi,

At last Digital Petroglyphs are available.
ah so you already have the info anyway but I'm pleased so see my cards available on Legends website. Got a couple of bricks of both colour yesterday and its great to see my designs in tangible form. Digital Petroglyphs were my favourite design yet but I will begin work on something new soon enough. Here is the link to to store for them

Received my LPCC delivery a few days ago.

The Black Serpentine cards themselves are exactly what one would expect, but I am both slightly surprised and mildly (very, very mildly) annoyed that the design of the tuck box doesn't match the Red and Blue Serps. Yes, the front and back of the tuck looks the same, but the sides, top, and bottom flaps are all oriented differently from the other two, and the bottom flap is designed entirely differently (It's missing both the UPC bar code and the Legends logo). I'm noticing this kind of inconsistency more and more, and with every instance, it starts to bug me more and more. How does this even happen?

Anyway. The DPs are printed using Diamond Finish, which I typically prefer to whatever Serps use (Classic?), and the tuck boxes are actually quite awesome. They have that pearlescent quality to them that some of the newer, splurgier tucks have that I really like. Also, it's easier to remove the seal without leaving residue behind on this kind of material. I've previously voiced my issue with these courts (they are kinda-mostly-but-not-entirely-repeating courts), but otherwise, this is a very nicely realized deck. The aesthetic and the color design work really well with this high quality LPCC printing. Congrats on seeing this one come to life, Stacey, especially with the high quality tuck! :-)

The original Serpentines used Emerald finish. Classic is soft while Diamond is stiff, Emerald is not really in the middle but still between the two anyway. I don't have my blacks yet but I'm suspecting that they're likely using the Emerald finish as well.

You are right, i'm also bit annoyed that there are some changes.
They changed not only the sides and the bottom of the tucks also the front.

Image

1. The Company name is missing on top of front.
2. some of the details are missing (look at the bottom of my pic; red arrows)
3. red & blue tucks were not really white (they had some touch of green or yellow to it), but the new black deck is clean White.
4. The original red & blue had embossing on the tuck

Not only the tuck changed (Blue deck on the Left, Black deck on the right):

Image

1. the red colors on the new black deck are a bit darker
2. for some reason all the Courts got sick and have now green faces

The new courts look jaundiced. :(

Opened my decks last night. Glad I just ordered 1 black Serpentine. I won't be playing with that deck. The jaundiced courts turn me off. The Petroglyphs I was really happy with. And I agree with Alan, the tucks are awesome - opalescent and sturdy. The tucks were cello-wrapped of course, but the cards inside were cello-wrapped as well, which I didn't expect. Anyway, thumbs up on the DP.

I like the DP decks. They're kinda unusual because it first I thought the decks had small scratches on them but it's just how the tuck was designed if you look closely. Yes the courts are somewhat repetitive but they're colorful and a little different from each other. So these get a pass.
