Nice enough cards - but way too expensive. I've really been disappointed with the price creep in decks, so this isn't unexpected. Since I always consider cards as a magic tool for me, when I see this offering it just doesn't seem worth it.
In magic, gaff decks generally get far less use and abuse than a standard deck. Therefore, gaff decks and special gaff cards will usually outlast the regular cards they match. The only way this can work in the long run is for the magician to be able to replace the worn out regular cards with new decks. However, since this is a one-time-never-to-be-repeated production, there will be no replacing of the regular cards.
That really makes the gaff deck part of this offering questionable. At least the trick decks can be used on their own, but the cards in the gaff deck must be used in conjunction with a regular deck. You would have to load up with a lifetime supply on the regular decks so that you would have them to last as long as the gaff cards. Either that or just hardly use the regular cards which sort of defeats the purpose in buying them if you want to perform with them.
Hocus Pocus is a great company and I've bought a lot of magic from them. I'm sure there will be a lot of support for these nice cards, but even if I participated in Kickstarter (which I don't) I would not go for these.

I want to like these but can't. I think I got fancy. I like some type of bling or embossing on my tucks though I play with them. If these were $11, I would've got.

$13 with free shipping for a USPCC deck? That seems like a really reasonably price to me, especially when I see shit MPC decks funding at $15 a pop + shipping. This actually seems like a good price.

This mistake is only natural, as this deck looks radically different than the one on kickstarter.
If it had looked like this image on instagram, I would have pledged for a few.

Merged. Here's a 2 minute quick run through on the cards:

Here are the pics from Instagram:
FYI, the pics look black but the video shows they are purple.

Greeting card always nice. I'll watch their FB page since they said they'd have some for sale after pledges went out.

If you missed this it's now available at
http://www.hocus-pocus.com for $12.95 or brick+1 (13) $149.95. Postage varies I think since I added 2 other decks.

can someone who backed this project and bought their invisible and stripper deck let me if those decks are meant to be opened when they were sent out? cause i received mine not too long ago and thought it was strange that both the invisible and stripper deck are opened and i receive my package, thanks.

They have to be opened, that's how they apply the "fix". Some stripper decks apply a new seal but the cello has to be removed.
