I have to say, that's a really nice back design. And the courts are even custom, albeit classicly styled.

Too bad this is on indiegogo :/

Sounds like Indiegogo should be called Indie-No-Go

Very interested in this deck, any plans to switch to Kickstarter?

Several people in Asia have used a partner that is able to open a Kickstarter for them to make playing card decks. If this doesn't fund on IndieGoGo I would recommend considering that as an option. You will find many people will not support projects on IndieGoGo because of IndieGoGo. Good Luck!

Indiegogo works like this: it takes your pledge monies at the time that you pledge right away and if the project does not get funded, the creator may or may not return the funds. So you might not get your money back and a few people here have been burnt by this in the past. If you want to pledge and don't have money or credit at that moment then you may miss out on "Early Birds" or limited releases.

Kickstarter only takes your pledge monies at the end of a funding period and if it doesn't get funded you don't have to worry about anything. Though there have been project creators that don't deliver and you might lose your money, but that has been rare and yes some people like myself have been burnt this way. With this model you can plan ahead to have your money or credit available and you won't miss out on the "Early Birds" or limited releases.

Kickstarter is our preferred model for funding a project.

Yeah, the flexible funding model really sucks because the creator will get your money even if they don't reach their goal. It's great if you can produce a product for individuals with their backer pledge amount only, but for playing card projects you need all of the funds for a print run, and the backer gets nothing if they put $15 in on a project that uses flexible funding that doesn't reach it's print goal.

They do have a fixed funding model that works like Kickstarter, but like Talisman said above, they charge your card when you pledge, then refund that amount if the project fails, which I don't support because the only reason I see for doing this is to float funds through their bank.

Plus Indiegogo doesn't do a good job of educating new users about flex funding which isn't fair if you back a flex funding project that doesn't reach goal, the creator keeps your money (because indiegogo uses the honor system and hopes creators will just refund backers) and you get nothing to show for paying the creator.

I don't know if anyone checked out the pricing, but it is a minimum of 7USD to ship one deck (and that is to Asia)...even if this project was on KS, 19-20 a deck is quite steep in my mind...it is a nice design, but definitely not worth what is being asked :(

I like it but it's a no-go on Indiegogo sadly.
