Hipsteria Playing Cards LIVE on KS!

The project is live on Kickstarter!

Hi guys, I want to show you the first four cards of the new deck dedicated to the hipster subculture.
Here is the story how this idea emerged:
Recently a large number of young people began to imitate and adopt some habits inherent to this subculture. Every day I see on the streets stretched guys in T-shirts, with beards and iPhones. The girls wear old sweaters of their grannies and leggings, thick rimmed glasses and sneakers. Some people don’t like this, but it is a fact – hipsters became a part of modern culture.
I’ve seen some decks in this style, but I understand that there are no really stylish cards, which could display this subculture. Hipsters can’t buy ordinary cards, they should be fashionable and stylish. So I came up with the idea to create a special deck, which every hipster on the planet would like to buy. This cards are aimed to reflect the essence of this movement and I’ve tried to make them a little bit ironic and sarcastic, so that people who buy them could get not only aesthetic pleasure, but also could understand who are the hipsters and how their world looks like.
A talented Ukrainian artist Vyacheslav Shestopalov https://www.behance.net/shestopalov" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , who makes art in a similar style, agreed with my idea and here you see the first four cards. We would appreciate your feedback and suggestions for the future deck. Please comment and share your thoughts and ideas.

I love the art, I refuse to support Hipster culture even ironically (which they would love) even to the point that when Jody Ecklund did this same thing I wasn't on board, and I love his decks. But good luck, I'm sad to see people spreading the disease, but I like the art. Would love to see this artist work on a deck of a different theme!!

I would have to see more before I decided if i was in or not, but the art so far looks pretty cool. Im with justin in the anti hipster sentiment, but if that aspect isnt played up too much I could get behind this deck regardless.

Thank you for the reply! I've seen the deck you're talking about. As for me, it was too serious and glamorous, that's why it wasn't supported neither among hipsters, nor among the cardists because of the main idea of the deck.

Thank you for the feedback. I'll make update soon with some new cards. My main idea is to be ironic - I'm not going to popularize this subculture. Hope you'll support my project.

Basically the deck was too mainstream.  I'm only playing around- I also could care less about hipsters but the artwork is cool.

Not too keen on hipsters, but like the artwork, so I am intersted in seeing more...

Mods, shouldn't this be in Custom Deck Drafting Board?

The numeric clubs cards. Each card contains a corresponding number of hipster interior accessories, such as cacti, photo frames, chairs, bulbs, signboards, etc.

Hearts are for yummies! This is another part of the project and in particular an attempt to cover hipster food topic.

Sweet looking fun deck which would be nice to have. ;)
Playability isn't that good but i guess that's not the point of this deck.
Anyway, i like the artwork and wish you best luck to get this produced.

It's interesting and different, I like it. Not sure the name on the back of the card is really necessary though.

Backed. Because, frankly, there are hipsters in the family and friend group that will really want to play with these...

Nice look!
