Pedal Design : Misc Goods Co Playing Cards

Unread post by cosmicsecret »

received today my deck and t-shirt,so here is my first look at the deck :)
Image

The Box :
First of all - they do not come cellophane or sticker sealed! They come open without cellophane.
I guess it´s because of the numbering on the sides of the box.
The Box is slightly embossed on the front, back, sides and on top.The only part which has no embossing is the bottom of the box.
Feels good in the hands.Good quality.

The Cards :
They handle great.Fanning is easy and smooth. The cards have normal borders and the back is a one way design but you will not notice that,
only when looking longer then a few seconds on them.Could be worse. For my taste the back color should be a bit lighter...it´s too dark in my opinion.
Faro shuffles are easy to do with those cards right out of the box.
However they are not traditional cut....they will faro only easily back to back.
Because of the 4 corner pip layout they are not useable for blank fans.
The pips of the court cards do not show in fans....check the pictures i have added.
You will get a ad-card and a x-card as extras,no magic gaffs here folks.

For magic....not the best choice because of the above named points.
For flourishes/cardistry def. useable because of the nice casino stock, magic finish for fans. The one way back will not be noticed during the moves so no problem here.
As a collectors piece,a def. YES! The design grows on you the more you look at it.

Well overall a bit overpriced but seeing it as a Art piece and not as a performing deck its okay ;)

For the backs , you can barely see the gold ink as the lines are too fine .

Seals are free if you choose one of the three stock colors: red, blue, black.

Seals can be a pain in the ass for two reasons. 1. They suck to open. 2. They are never on straight.

We only put seals on our decks if the design allows for it. (Brimstone being the only exception)
