Re: Type+Color Playing Cards
I'm sure some people might like this but a "traditional" card collector I can't really wrap my head around "typographic" decks.

Re: Type+Color Playing Cards
the back is nice for fanning, but I'm not a big fan of the faces. The quality must be top then to fan it nicely. How do the MPC decks fan? I dont own any so far...

Re: Type+Color Playing Cards
I have learned to generally stay out of the fray on my admittedly weird deck projects, but I should say on this one that the experience of actually holding and using the face design on these cards is substantially better than a flat display of them on a screen. The above images seem loud and overstimulating - but that is not the actual experience of holding the cards in your hands.
I tried to mitigate some of this in the video for the Kickstarter campaign, so if you have an ounce of intrigue about these designs, give the video a look.
Otherwise - hey - my goal is to make something weird and provocative. So to that end, SUCCESS!

Even though this particular deck isn't for me, I love your approach. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future!

Just a note, if anyone is interested in my previous INTERFERENCE series, you can add a set of these onto a pledge for this campaign for $25 (includes postage).
