Wanted to give a quick review regarding Cardporn Online Store and the stores owner Chad.
I recently purchase an item from Cardporn and want to give my review of the ordeal.
First, when I came across his site I was blown away by the amount of rare decks he currently owns and sells. I found browsing through his site was easy and well put together. Not as much information regarding some of the rare decks being sold but enough info to understand what your buying. One can always do a little google search to find more information if needed.
My checkout procedure was quite easy. When I looked over the shipping cost between US and international, it was quite a difference but understandable due to Chad residing in the United States. I decided to ship my item to my US shipping address as the international rate was a little high.
Due to this item coming from another supplier, it took a little longer for Chad to get my item out the door but was pleased with the communication Chad and I had regarding this.
During our conversations, I asked Chad if he could ship my package to my Canadian address and work out the difference in shipping costs. Not only did Chad ship my item to my Canadian address, he even covered the difference (which I was willing to pay). (
given!)Due to high import charges implemented by customs, I asked Chad to lower the value to avoid my wallet from emptying. Not only was he able to do that, he also shipped the item by UPS. According to UPS tracking the item was processed on January 6th and at my door on January 8th. To my surprise, the item had NO import charges even though it was valued at my requested $95.00.
Not only do I commend Chad for all his work & communication between us, but also commend UPS. I've never had anything that crossed the border without UPS applying some sort of taxes or duty fees.
All-in-all, I would not only recommend that people check out his site for his amazing decks, but I also want people to know that Chad is a true businessman with a great innovation for us collectors out there. Thanks again Chad for all your help and "showmanship" during this transaction. I plan on checking your site frequently for new and rare decks. Keep up the great work!
