I like it. A fun fact is that I always want the Suicide King to have something going through his head. Very few decks that don't have slid past. I don't worry about the one eyed Jacks, etc.

Art of Play makes me worry that there will be repeating courts.
In the Fulton October deck, the suicide King was the only non-repeating court. All of the rest were repeats, which really, really cheesed me off.
I'll be waiting to know if the courts are repeating on this one before I even think about going there.

Safe to say we have a firm grasp of what the Kings look like. More cards please?

Hey hey hey! Don't jinx the deck.
I see 1984 on the tuck, such a good year.

For those in the US, rare playing cards seems to be your best bet. AoP has them at regular price, Rare reduced them to $7 initially but it's $8 now with $5.50 shipping.

Perhaps but AoP has 20% off right now with the code BLACK

20% from $10 is $8 so they're both the same price. Depends on shipping cost. I went with rareplayingcards too and want to know how rare is this deck going to be?

I picked up a few of these during the Black Friday sale after seeing enough pictures to know that these weren't repeating courts (a pet peeve of mine). Well...
Holy cow, I like this deck.
The pictures do not do this deck justice. It features two different metallic gold inks on the faces, which make the pips and the courts really, really stand out. These particular inks are among the shiniest I've seen USPCC use, and the results are gorgeous.
I've called Art of Play / D&D / Deckstarter out in the past for not living up to their potential, and here, I must say that they did this deck right. This deck goes all out. It's different, it's got a great sense of design and personality, it employs the shiny very well, and it's top quality USPCC printing. The colors are well chosen. The tuck box, while not extravagant, is well executed: the paper is well chosen both in terms of color and feel, the embossing and glossy ink make it clear that this is a nice home and some decent cards live here.
Well done, Art of Play. Well done.

It's one of my personal favorite decks because it's simple and very well done. I'm glad people in here didn't jinx the deck. It's odd it doesn't say Red Wheels on the tuck.
