I really like the gold deck. But this campaign begs the question- is it better to include all the bells and whistles, charge a higher price and run the risk of it not getting funded due to the price? Or start small without the bells and whistles, charge a lower price in hopes of just getting the deck funded at all but release a sub-par product? 'Tis a conundrum... On this project I personally am a little turned off by a $15 Legends deck HOWEVER I do think it's cool that int. shipping is only an extra $3. I'll probably end up pledging.

Man, that right there is the money question. I've pondered this over and over. The deck actually started out blue, with no foil, no embossing, no metallic ink and I was going to have the Gold and Platinum as the more expensive decks that you can add on. I consulted with some of my co-workers and looking at other deck campaigns, it seemed like offering the most quality decks right away was the better way.

We shall see though!

Thanks for mentioning shipping. It was an area where I wanted to improve upon looking at what other campaigns charge. I hope you do pledge! There's a lot of great things that are going on with this deck.

Pretty queens :p

The style of the courts look very classic. Looks really good. Classy boxes too - especially the gold on white one.

Not too keen on the geometric corner border loop details, though, since there aren't any similar geometric/linear loop-work on the courts' images. IMO, rounded loops would integrate better with the whole vibe of the courts.

The similarity to my ICONS deck back is striking.
Too similar IMHO.

I think the only similarity between the two backs is the 2 headed eagle.

With saying that, I don't think they are similar in any other way. Each of the cards has its own colour and feel which doesn't resemble each other.


If you are saying this is copy, what do you think of Sideshow Deck and Sawdust Deck?
On the back of those 2 cards have "ADMIT ONE", does it means that Sideshow copied Sawdust? well, I don't just because they have a very different style and approach.

While the face cards are completely different, i think the back design is very similar as lotrek said, its not just down to the eagle, its the circular element next to the eagle, and the overall structure of the back design is very similar.

I believe lorenzo also had a similar encounter with back design with similar back design structure of the heretic deck from another guy.

It's great when you have two decks that not only are different in tuck and card back color but also the color of courts, etc. Looks like a huge jump from Lumberjacks so I hope these decks make it through along with all the features.

I'm in for 2 decks and I hope you make it... best of luck.

As for the backs being too similar to the ICONS deck I totally disagree. Yes there are similarities, but they are minimal.

Seems like it's getting increasing tough to get funded on Kickstarter quickly unless your a big name, but the campaign is inching along. It's surprising how many people ignore the 1 deck reward and opt for 2 or more!

Regardless, I love the support!

I'll have updates coming soon showing the Jokers and numbered cards.

Eminence is in it's last 24hrs. It only need 8% to be fully funded. Let's make that final push forward! I've added the 1st Edition of the Lumberjacks as an add-on in the campaign to see if it that helps with funding.
