Looks like a sweep to reset permissions is needed on thumbnails. A number of them show as broken links in edit.

path for broken link in source will show "ACCESS DENIED - You are not authorized to access this page." error

This is a selective problem, possibly just those that were imported from the old site or after a certain time? This one is fine
