I live in Madrid, Spain, I'm a card-magician for 10+ years now... but I got into card collecting and a little cardistry not long ago.
Here in Spain we have a major card manufacturer in Vitoria, as much of you must know, Fournier cards are produced here. They were bought by the USPCC some years ago, but the standards and stock are the same, which is really great, but those were the only cards I was used to handle when I wasn't yet into magic, so I remember the first time I touched a Bicycle deck, I was impressed by the difference in the finish and the feeling of it.
I still have my first one, a Jumbo index red Bikes, signed by Juan Tamariz, and it stills in a pretty good shape!
I'm looking forward to meet other collectors, sellers (hopefully EU sellers, since shippings and customs buying from USA are quite expensive. If you are one of them say "hi" !!) and any other interesting thing and people : )
I love to practice, and I love to perform. I get the same amount of pleasure from both. Talking about cardistry, I'm into spinny things, gravity-related flourishes, one-card flourishes and (how to say?) idk, fluid-stunts like Waterwheel, Ripple or "Under Pressure". I practice them but I don't usually display flourishes when performing magic. I do like to insert tiny details between efects or as "magic gesture" before the effect takes place, though.
I'm not really good at multiple cuts flourishes, so I don't usually practice them. I'm also a follower of the cardistry community in Instagram.
I wouldn't know how to describe my collection of cards, but I find I collect based on taste, not "all what fall in my hands" type of collection.
I will post some photos of my collection soon enough. In the meanwhile, I'll be reading you guys

Cheers!
