Hello everyone.
After a successful campaign with Four Beasts and Hellsgate playing cards, here is our third instalment.
I am happy to announce Diamond Playing Cards.

I love the backs! The AoS is a little lack luster but overall not bad. I know many here don't like standardish courts but they don't bother me here.

This will be launching July 7 at 7pm UCT

I kind of like the "less is more" approach to the colors here. Might be a bit tricky getting the yellow and grey/silver to pop, but I'm curious about the final results.

(The indices are quite close to the edges, but if the printer (EPCC/LPCC I'm guessing?) can pull it off, hats off to them.

Marcus - Yes, we want the indices closer to the edge. Looks like he knows where no mans land begins. I like the way he put a ghost border in the Aces. It makes the Aces look like a court card...

Not interested in the customizing space on the tuck. Bigger indicies are great. Ideal version has red diamonds and hearts. Red version!

I might just scrap the whole write your name idea...
Maybe a signature foil printed in that space?

$18 CAD for an early bird. Is it me or are decks getting more expensive? Yeah I know shipping is free, thank goodness, but it almost feels like we are paying for it anyway at that price.

Prices for everything have gone up since Kickstarter split the shipping.

Even so, it seems like in the last two weeks or so, the price for KS decks has gone up a couple bucks each.

Have to agree with MagikFingerz. What if the Black line in the outer border on the Hearts and Diamonds was red? What would it look like? You are in different territory. Usually, the club and space are Black. Make a prototype with her name and propose. It's best to keep it simple with your signature on the tuck box. So, did she say yes...

aw man I should've done that! But thank goodness the diamond ring worked out well She said yes!

alvinhy - You made me think. Usually, a deck has Red or Black in it. You have neither. The red is gold and the black is kind of grey. I look forward in seeing the red outline on the gold. I wonder if really make a difference.

Glad she said yes. So where does she fit in the scale? Is her name Tiffany?

I'll soon have the mockups. Maybe a deck must have red in it to be popular?

Im looking to cancel the project and improve the design. I think I rushed this design since I wanted it to be out for the proposal but i guess that was a silly decision.

I'll probably add more colour (Red!) in to the design and change the tuck as well (get rid of the signature) and maybe have a dark colour box instead of a white box.

Any thoughts about this?

You are the artistic governor, you should do what you feel would be best.

Yes thats true, and also I need to work on the pricing, i need to make it cheaper
So I think cancelling is the best option for this project.

I love the fact that you are trying to make the design stronger (and I agree with the suggestions and the direction you are considering). Whether you cancel and re-launch, or try to make these changes as the KS project continues to unfold, either way is fine with me. I'm on board.

Thanks for the support! I will need to cancel and re-launch in order to amend the prices So probably cancel it today and develop the deck even more.

yup, wait until you got everything perfect! Also, I wouldn't mind if you just copy and pasted all of the rewards from the viridian campaign. It seemed pretty straight forward for a one color option deck

Wow, these look great!! I like the idea of red pips on the black version.

Agree with Vasta! Red pips on the black cards would look sweet!
