This isn't a normal playing cards deck so I put it in the General section, but this thing is only about 2 hours old and already over $250K!
Make that over $300k now, I'm just watching it go up by thousands every minute!!!flyers3003 wrote:This isn't a normal playing cards deck so I put it in the General section, but this thing is only about 2 hours old and already over $250K!
I'm right there with you. This guy must be lacing his cards with pcp or cocain. Are these people serious? this project has to have made more than $1 million in profits even after KS fees, stripe fees, printing, and shipping. Can you imagine, KS is making more than $65000 alone from this.nECr0MaNCeD wrote:1.3 million??????MILLIOM????? What am I missing? And who is the oatmeal guy. I gave up smoking weed a long time ago so there's got to be something I am missing.
Haha why not give it a shot ! =DdaveEdgerly wrote:I think it's mind blowing. 2 million in 24 hours! Maybe they'll cross promote:)
This game is pure Ameritrash, much in the veins of Gloom, Munchkin and Fluxx as I've previously mentioned. However, it has the replayability as Cards Against Humanity - meaning the first time you play this game with people who have never played it before, it will be their new favorite game. The next time you play it though, everyone will have seen all the cards and the shock value wears off. The art and theme obfuscates the simplicity and dullness of the gameplay.ecNate wrote:Oh, it's the Oatmeal guy. No wonder this blew up so fast.
I'm pretty well gamed out on Kickstarter, still have games I haven't played much yet. Will be coming back to this though, after I figure out exactly how these strategy elements work, seems way too much like a simple card drafting luck game at first glance, but they talk about holding cards and decisions points. The price is a bit high too for a simple card deck based game, but most games are due to play testing needed on top of art work.
I bet it'll take admagic a week to print, then it'll take 4 weeks to ship everything.dazzleguts wrote:5 hours to go and still climbing as you watch.
The team at Admagic are in for a very busy time. Hope they have a fast press.
