New deck from Theory 11 & JJ Abrams / Bad Robot

T11 has been teasing a new deck from JJ Abrams the past couple weeks and looks like tomorrow night is the release date.

I didn't buy the first deck and I have been richly rewarded by the mysteries that have swirled inside my imaginarium.
Since then I have seen the cards and have been doubly-rewarded since they look awful.

Now I will imagine the cards I am not buying are in the dark, shrouded with mystery.

Remember: The only disappointment can come from opening/buying them.
Also: needs more lens flare.

I liked the first back design, but not the faces. I might get some along with the blacks when they come out though, not sure yet.

The first mystery deck, bad robot deck, call it what you will did not catch my eye at all. Wasn't a fan. I'm liking the red and black of this tuck, those are striking colors. I'm going to keep an open mind, although I don't expect much with these. I don't think I'll even pick one up until I see what the cards look like.

A valid point, I do know they have experienced delays with some recent decks getting to them, this may be one of them and they may have originally decided to release earlier than this.

Is this a deck worth consideration of purchasing or should I pass? I've got enough elite points to purchase a deck when it comes out, just trying to decide if I should save them for something else or not.

Did they missed black friday? However, this and the original ones do make an interesting conversation piece if you have them displayed.

They're most likely an unlimited release like the first mystery box deck. Pics look like it's just a color change from a red back to black along with extra embossing of the tuck. If you're a fan of JJ Abrams / Bad Robot or want to feel good knowing $1 gets donated to charity or just like the design, load up. But they most likely won't be a rare deck one can make money off of on ebay.
