Is this the back design (the single card displayed in the pic)? :?

I would assume so. I'll pick one up, more interested in this than the perspective deck.

@chach - I thought backs are "2-way".

Some are... some are not.

That looks nothing like a back design, maybe its a joker or something

If that's the card back, my interest in this deck dropped to just above club 808 Perspective deck. I really hope it's a joker.

That better be part of a diptych or something because if not, that's one of the worst backs ever.

Just found this image on Kardify that nobody seemed to notice or share. Confirms that IS the back design, kind of lame.

Blech, standard courts it looks like too. Just as well, more money for other things, but wow is 808 sinking fast. First that horrid perspective and now this? Meh, not sure I'll be renewing.

Thanks for sharing though.

I believe this isn't an 808 designed deck. From what I understand it was an Asian market deck that is now being offered via the US site.

Either way I see ecNate's point- it would be a shame if Club 808 releases another subpar or "white noise" deck. Come on, USPCC- step it up!

So you are telling me this deck is made from Bicycle? If so, that back is made for an art deck not for playing cards. Jackson needs to get in there before the fire starts. I remember another that had a "1-Way" back the "War Horse" deck. Do you like it?

And that's another deck that originally was for the Asian market only but hen released in the US as a collector's deck.

Really don't see what the complaining is about, don't like it, don't buy it. But it's a deck that was difficult to procure before that now won't be as much. Isn't that good for collectors? Is it the best design? No, not by a long shot IMO, but it wasn't meant to be a full on custom deck like their 808 series. It's a general release deck, same as their Texas Star, Peacock and Madison decks. Just in this case the general release has previously just been limited to the Asian markets, and maybe their tastes differ from those in the West.

What deck was that? Do they really want me to join the 808 club? With the stuff they are pulling out of their hat?

Two Asian decks coming to mind, the aforementioned Bicycle Warrior Horse and the Bicycle Chinese Opera, both probably from the same person as this, which I think is USPCC itself.

Forgot about the Chinese Opera deck. Yes that was another one released just to the Asian Market at first as well as War Horse and now Architecture. Have to wonder how many others there are.

Porcelain.

One set of playing cards in as series. I can't remember the name or the colour.

I picked up an Architecture on Black Friday. As I won't open it, the Red Foil Door on black tuck will make a beautiful display, regardless of the inner designs. Sometimes it's all about the tuck...

I do wish I could find a Porcelain deck, though. That one looks good inside and out. Love the AoS!

The porcelain deck is nice, but what they are showing you is "Card Porn" Do you think after the honeymoon is over and the makeup is off and the cards are shuffled is it going to look like that? No it is not. If your going to make a "Way-1" back which is fine, it needs to have a border so this shit doesn't happen.... Simple.

You have a point, sprouts. But as a card collector/flourisher and not a card player, I don't care that much. If it looks good enough, I can manage keeping it the way it is and enjoy the artwork. Of course, if there was a "perfect deck" this issue wouldn't be present, but no decks are perfect.

Back to old school USPCC / Bicycle brand: unique back, AoS and joker(s) - sometimes. Of course a tuck, as well.
