Another new one and I don't know what to say, lots of copying and pasting and a 1 way back. Big pass. Highly doubt it will reach the $10,000 goal.

It's "Cosa Nostra".

Costra means crust in Spanish though. Unless it's a Sicilian pizza mafia.

 Wow, it's been a while since I've seen one this awful...

Let's examine just a few lines from this campaign...
I am an artist and I love to research the Mafia and play cards in my free time.
translation: I've played poker once or twice, I think I am an artist, and i've watched some mafia movies a few times and I can actually remember a few of the important characters, but i couldn't be bothered to do actual work like googling "costra nostra", and finding out that i've gotten it all wrong before plastering it all over my project.
I have done art work/projects for many different companies in the past and I decided to make a deck of playing cards that are true to the roots of NYC and the underbelly of the wise guys.
translation: I made some evites for some friends and they politely complimented me, so a deck of playing cards was obviously no big deal to pull off. Besides, nothing says "New York" like cards with a cartoon of Al Capone on the back!
This deck is all original designed art work that is a mix of new school with a twist of the golden age. Everything down to the box is original digital art designed by me.
translation: "I pirated a copy of photoshop and ran some photos of celebrities through some quick filters. I am an artistic genius."

:ugdance: :ugdance: :ugdance:

AAAHAHAH! The translations are magnificent (and accurate!).

But really, I think the most funny part is the "Costra Nostra" thing!

I ran across this today and I have to agree with y'all, this is not a good deck. I do not see any real artistic talent with this deck. I love the last reward tier "A 15 minuted telephone call with a real member of the mob." lol

Yeah I think the correct spelling is "Cosa Nostra". Maybe he is trying to be creative...wait, why is Marilyn Monroe the queen?

Change it so it's correct, or what he said? I don't think it's going to matter much...

You can tell how much he knows about cards, too: $120 tier = "A full dealers case" (of ten decks of course). I think I'll go buy one of those 15 minute talks with the mob, now that they are down to a very reasonable $200. That's less than $13.50 per minute, on sale from the previous $30+ per minute! :ugthink:

So we like "Cosa Nostra" on all the cards. Nope, that is pretty boring and lazy. You can do better...
