Now these are the teasers I like. A whole back of card not some blurry image or a telescopic view of a part of a card.
Looks very "2-way" and everything is right side up on the top part of the card. Looks to be a very nice back of card....
If it was up to me, On the bottom of the card I would have spelled "SEX" somewhere in the smoke! Subliminal messaging does it work?

Those blurry images we see all over the place are a part of the marketing techniques companies use. And they keep popping up because it works.

Well i guess this only appeals to the fans of the series, not my cup of tea, those white borders really not match imo

I love Breaking Bad, it is probably my top TV series ever. I won't get any of these though, this genre of cards holds absolutely zero interest for me personally.

I've never watched breaking bad so this definitely isn't a must for me. I liked the Goonies but the wizard of oz deck kept looking worse and worse. I see a lot of this in the future.

Works on some, not on others. I'm in the camp it doesn't work for but that's no surprise.

Have to agree, but this one has potential. I did notice a flaw in the back. The artist use two of same images of smoke. Maybe the artist could change the back and put the word "METH" in the smoke. If you look closely, he has a thin green border. Maybe he could get rid of the white border. and just expand the back of card. Only problem is he would have to make his courts and pips have the same green border.

The fan would have this over and over, but why not?

Same here usually, but I find this one is interesting. But I agree the white border doesn't match.

All time favorite show, but this just doesn't get it done - for me, anyway. I'm sure that it will do well! The underlying structure for backers is there - times 1000!

Not very interested in these myself. However, my boyfriend is a huge fan of Breaking Bad, so I'll probably be pledging for these. He might like them more than I do.

Never watched the show, have no plans of ever watching the show either. I do like the card back, in some weird way, The illusion of skulls in the smoke probably. Helps the whole theme thing that none of them have teeth. Even so, this very likely won't be for me. I have absolutely no attachment to the show, them, etc.

Great Scene in Breaking Bad. Basically, the guy in the wheelchair is paralyzed, but he can move his lips and ring his little call bell.
Have to agree he probably needs to get rid of the white border. It would only be better for the back of card and do it justice. Should it bleed out or have a tiny green border? Change that second smoke image Erik you lurker...

Seriously sprouts? For anyone that hasn't seen the show that is one hell of a major spoiler. It'd be like telling someone that hasn't seen Empire Strikes Back before that Vader is Luke's father.
I like the back, but I'll hold off on saying I'm in or what not til I see the court artwork. A show such as Breaking Bad doesn't lend itself to the cartoonish style that AD has used for their previous decks. I just can't take Heisenberg or the twins seriously when they're drawn like cartoons...

@chach - I'm so with you chach believe me, but this deck has so much potential. This deck needs to be more realistic than cartoonish to do it justice.

I think by the card backs alone, it says this deck is quite a bit different than the one just posted.

Yep. And Shepherd Book was actually a member of the Alliance before heading out with Capt Mal and the crew.

Alright, I've been given the greenlight to reveal my part in the Breaking Bad Decks!
I did everything except for the Character Drawings. The Artist Albino Dragon hired did an excellent job with the Character Drawings, but they needed someone to take it from there and create a Deck(s) Design that fit the mood and brand look of the show. I'm a big fan of Breaking Bad and had a blast doing it!
The Kickstarter page is not yet ready, but the Decks are available via Pre-Order as part of Albino Dragon's Black Friday Sale (albinoodragon.com).
Thanks, Randy

I don't watch Breaking Bad and I'm not really a fan of how they split the two halves of the courts like what they did with their Synthesis deck but I love those colors and pips.

Great job on the pips, Randy!
Only thing that stuck out for me is the text/logo on the backs of the Blue Ice deck, just seems unnecessary to me.
I wonder if there'll be a "Better Call Saul" deck in a few years

Pips and backs are really very nice. I love that the blue deck is crackled on the back. Looks very sharp. The courts are great, but I gotta say Wow to the number card I see on the green deck. Pips have a very nice effect. I'm sold. Never been one to watch the Series, but I'll be picking some of these up for sure.

Well, these are not the cartoony images we are use to with Albino Dragon. I can see why they had to go with a white border with the green back.
I think the club and spade pip in the indices is a bit to similar. I would have dug just a little deeper in the club. I can imagine having to do a double take looking at my hole cards just to make sure it's a club

The only image that looks like it need more light highlights is "Lydia Rodarte" It would make her face pop out more and look a bit more realistic. She looks a bit flat.

I really like the fading into the borders. That has to be a Randy effect. It gives the illusion of a thinner border. I'm pretty sure these cards have already been made and are ready to be shipped. So whatever I say is not going to make a difference anyways. Overall these are some nice cards and Erik should do pretty good.
@MagikFingerz - How about a Saul deck with "quotes"

@Sprouts - the Print files are with USPCC. They are definitely not THAT fast though. The product page has a January 15th estimated delivery date, which sounds right on for USPCC's normal turnaround time.
Better Cal Saul looks like it could be a blast! - http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hO6TeCBTwBI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Here's a look at the Jokers and a cool double Gaff / Ad Card!
Thanks, Randy

These are amazing. Im watching breaking bad again at the minute. I really love the pips and I don't mind the way they split but one thing I would enjoy more is if the name tags didnt look like something from Tron. It would be cool to keep the periodic table style to match the show. Those illustrations are kick ass though. Ace

Gasp, I have to agree with Sprouts! They are definitely too similar that concerns me they would be too hard to tell apart when actually using them to play a game of cards. Shame, I love Randy's works and so far have every AB deck but this might be one I pass on. Also depends on what he's going to be able to do for UK backers. I can have them shipped to the US and then forwarded on but it's a pain.
