"I am going to sponsor my first "nECrO's Promote That Deck" contest. Up for grabs is a pair of Dia De Los Muertos decks. One Black and one Painted. The rules are below. If I over looked anything let me know.

1. Promote the Necromancy deck in anyway you like.
2. All promotion efforts must be submitted to Twitter at #promotenecromancy or PM nECr0MaNCeD here at UC
3. A suitable tie breaker will be devised if/when needed
4. Originality, quality and quantity all count.

1. Top prize: 12 decks (One brick). 4 Painted, 4 black and 4 regular
2. Second prize: 6 decks. 2 painted, 2 black and 2 regular
3. Third prize: 3 decks. 1 Painted, 1 black and 1 regular


International shipping is included for all prizes =)"

Edgy Brothers PMed me and have sweetened the prize with a mixed brick of 4 Regular, 4 Black and 4 Painted decks. I thought I would award the mixed brick as the grand prize and the two decks as a second place prize. What does everyone think?

Also, I was thinking. This is also a great opportunity to attract new members for UC, so get the word out and tell the world to check out UC and the Necromancy deck!

EDIT: I didn't stop to think that not everyone uses Twitter. Those who don't can PM me links and/or pics of their promotion efforts.

NEW EDIT: I should mention that the contest will run until the campaign finishes.

I already have the decks and will not be participating so as to give others a chance, but I have a suggestion. Instead of awarding the brick to a single winner, why not give a set of 3 decks each to 4 winners? They're beautiful decks - spread the love

The drawback is that you will pay more in postage fees.

Thanks Firthetic. I was pondering breaking the mixed brick up. Since I will be covering the shipping I want to be sure that I can. I like your idea so here's what I am going to do....

2. Second prize: 4 decks. 2 painted, 1 black and 1 regular
3. Third prize: 2 decks. 1 black and 1 regular

Once again contest runs from now until campaign ends.

It doesn't look like there is much interest in this. I don't know if it is the deck, the contest itself or the prizes. Would adding prizes or sweetening the pot help? I'd love to hear some feedback.

So who else has been promoting the deck ? Its down to the last week or so, ive done instagram and fb ! I really want the elemental deck to be unlocked !

Well, sadly this didn't turn out the way I had hoped. Thankfully I am a better technician than Promoter and I can at least make a living.

AT this point I have only had two entrants. I thought it was three but going over everything there were only two. I am in contact with the Edgy Bros and they are sending some prizes for the two people who entered. Since this was my Contest and idea I am adding my own prizes to what Edgy Bros send. My thanks to Volantangel and Pcggamer for entering and their efforts to promote the Necromancy deck.

PS For those who don't know the campaign has just under two days left and they just unlocked a nice 4 pc dice set.

I would've gladly joined but personally, I only use my twitter for game spam since I don't have a single follower and I only have a few family members and friends I never talk to on Facebook. Announcement would've fallen on deaf ears. :lol

Or it could just be that we all like to win freebies with the most minimal effort possible. That's why the "like and share to win" are hella popular.

No worries. I learned a lot doing this. It sure wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I have some other swag and this won't be my last contest. Keep watching.
