Looks really good.... But $20 USD to ship 4 decks, no thanks....
The best part is that he only charges $25 to ship one brick...

You're right, that was supposed to be $15 like I did on my last project. Thanks for catching that.

I like the idea of this deck, I'm just not sure I like all these cartoony decks coming out.

I like some of the custom pips, not too keen on the spade but it's okay. The card backs, I don't like at all though. Don't care much for the tucks either. I'm very unlikely to pledge for this one. Can't say that I won't, there may be some absolutely charming character pop up in the courts that I'll really like and pledge based upon that. At the moment though, this isn't for me. His style works really well for some things, I don't think it's dark enough for vampires. Dark and morbid or cute work for vampires. These are neither, but yea nice attempt. I mean I get it, I just don't want to actually get it.

Same here. The backs are weird. I can't put my finger on it but it doesn't look nice. I also find the tuck boring.

Agree, but I kinda like the rest of it. A bit too cartoony, but still appeals to me a little. I'll be watching, hopefully some improvements.

So, can tell what the heart, club and diamond pips are, and love their design. But what are the spades supposed to be?

The black ichor that flows through the veins of my accursed immortal shell.

*hisses at sunlight*
*changes into a bat*
*flies away*

You're welcome. Opinions are feedback. While you may decide that these are not opinions you hold any great value in, or possibly hold in greet esteem, they're opinions none the less. Constructive? Certainly, I think so. These fine gentlemen are having a good time whilst looking at the deck and commenting on things they see. So far we've established, that the spade is difficult to understand. The Dracula-esque character on the card back and the tuck face is in a pose that's less than flattering.

I don't understand the card back, I think I may get something out of it. I'm not sure but I think it's trying to tell a story. I feel like it could have been accomplished with a reader back though. More interesting and lending some mystique to the deck itself. I'd certainly like it a whole lot better myself. I can now put my finger on what I don't like about the card back. Dracula, we'll call it about to sneeze or about to bob for apples. He's got the the sun over one shoulder, shouldn't that kill him? The strange book behind the girl she looks like she's leaning against a massive ice cream sandwich. When she's a vampire it looks like she's leaning against a great big red velvet ice cream sandwich. I like the occasional Ice cream sandwich, but I don't get why they're there at the moment. Maybe she's reading vampire stories, could be possible. They put her to sleep though. Coffin and the bat, I get that bit classic and cool. The coffin, bat, border, I like. The rest I don't.

I thought the spade was supposed to be a scarab or a beetle at first. Mostly due to my poor vision and the highlights on either side of the wings there. However under magnification, which I use often, I can see they're some kind of strange black drops. No idea where oil and vampires come together, but okay. Mind you the only spade I do see is Doctor Varanus, I like her clothing and her pose and the background. She doesn't look like a vampire to me though. Is she supposed to be one? The image doesn't tell me she is, so I'm guessing no.

Back to pips, the indices I see on the diamonds show different sized pips. The 8 and the King, with the latter showing a much smaller diamond then the ocho. Usually not too big of a fan on watermarks but I like how the border on the number cards is kind of ghosted in there. Pretty trick and makes the pips shine, good stuff. I like the pips, sans the spade.

Can anyone tell me why all the courts seem to be holding pets? Dracula has a little bat called Squeaks that he dearly loves. The Nosferatu-esque gentlemen has a rat called Squeaks that he dearly loves, it may be his only friend. Doctor lizard has a fox called Squeaks that she dearly loves but she's too proud to show it in the portrait. Everyone <3's Squeaks, I should <3 Squeaks too. Squeaks, I <3 you. :)

Anyway, I really liked the Neverland deck. I was charmed by it and I can't wait to have it in my mitts. Love the pips, love the back, love the tuck, love the courts, etc etc fantastic deck. This one, not so much. Feels like a step back, not a step forward. Still not going to say a definite No on this deck though. It's a possible maybe for me, have to wait and see what's uncovered as the campaign goes on. After all, it has Squeaks. :D

Is it only the tuck box that is the difference between the limited and unlimited editions?

I'd wager that yes. Steampunk Pirates were tuck swaps, same for Neverland. I sure got duped on Pirates, thinking the Black Flag was different.
