I'd probably get one just to say I have it but the design looks uninteresting almost to the point of being...boring maybe. The courts, from what I can tell, look like pictures doubled and the aces are slightly modified with samurai swords doubled. Not really what I would do for a samurai deck at all.

For $12 plus shipping, I might have to say no thanks.

These have the same backs as the V1, but in black. The art is done by Sam Hayles (Karnival Playing cards) and does have that modern art feel surrounding classic Japanese images of Samurai and Geisha. Ink spatter, starburst lines, fading, "triple black" ink, and extra bonuses for magicians without the skulls and skeletons Karnival is known for. All in all, I dig them. I can see how it might be a turn off for others though.
