Well the page is mostly in russian except the pledge levels, this makes it a little hard to pledge, not knowing exactly what ill be getting, but its a nice looking deck!

Link to the deck in the custom deck drafting board: http://unitedcardists.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5673

You can try opening it in chrome browser. It gave me the option to translate the page once it was loaded.

Its a very well designed deck. I'm in for an EB. Kinda disappointed that there weren't more options for the LEs with one deck.

Haha of course, but its always better for there to be a proper english translation

I pledged for this deck and received an email saying, "You Have Authorized a Payment to AlieN InK, Kickstarter, Inc.". This is the best deck from them so far, I'd say.

Haha! Fished in.

Actually, this whole thing is a little confusing. I didn't see any Russian, but also didn't see anything about who's printing (I assume MPC) what the difference is between the regular and limited, who's doing the plastic deck, and why I need to get six regular decks in order to get the limited, plastic and mini decks.

In the end, if it is alien ink, I want nothing to do with those clowns...

Oh goodness, of all people you teamed up with alien slink ?! But seriously who is the printer ? Didn't alien slink print their decks in India ?

I'm gonna keep my $12 pledge for now and see how it goes. Anyone have experience handling India-printed decks?

So tiers 18, 19 and 20 are $500. Tiers 24, 25, and 26 are $2000. You get the exact same thing except the last tiers are the first in the batch?

My goodness.

Dude, Editions #1. The rest of the editions may as well be printed on toilet paper. Editions #1 are where it's at.

...said the guy who pledged $12 for a deck.

Alien (SL)Ink and no mention of a printer (says "printed in the US", so not India at least)? I wasn't really planning on pledging anyway, but I'm definitely staying away now.

Btw, have they even done any of the stuff that was suggested in the Drafting Board thread? Courts are still tiny.

I just posted this message to the creator of the current Arcanum Decks on Kickstarter:

"Hello Vovk Aleksand,

Is this project missing some pledge levels?

I missed the $12 Early Bird Pledge Level for a single deck, but now the only available next level is $42.

Shouldn't there be something between these two price ranges?

What happened to non-Early Bird Pledge Levels for one or two decks?

Hoping to pledge, but $42 is more than I need to spend right now...

Fullerton, California"

He posted in the comments that he was negotiating with the USPC. Last I checked $5000 isn't enough to print with USPC. He says he will pay the rest, yeah I don't want any part of that, so i'm out. I also noticed I was billed by Alien Ink, they are being sneaky now it seems.

Don't exactly like the comments, but I'm gonna keep my EB to see what happens.

This is a good example of the pitfalls of being a new collector. This is the first I have heard of Alien Ink's reputation. I pledged for two Elements decks. The last update was very ambiguous. Mostly he talked about how busy he was growing his business and seemed to say he was about to deliver the Wine deck, then Elements. Well September is drawing near it's end. Also, the Wine deck failed to fund so what fulfillment can there be? Glad I didn't pledge for more.

Don't worry about it, man - that's why it's good to hang around UC, there's always something to learn. Remember that you can always cancel your Kickstarter pledge.

Arcanum just got cancelled without notice. Good thing it did, was getting a little fishy...

Don and others at PCF talked some sense into him and suggested it be cancelled. I see there's an update there about 'The new position', but it's backers only and I was waiting to give my donation until AFTER I got the promised uncut PDF, so not sure what was said there. EDIT - Update from creator here if you missed it.

Agree, things were getting way to suspect there it was almost comical. I'm also glad it got cancelled because I got so sick of seeing the thread for 'Arcanum' and thinking it was the 'Arcana' deck!

I do hope Arcanum returns with more thought out project though. Same for Arcana since that's not looking so hot from a funding perspective.

I think he plans on relaunching with USPC printing and no more mini or plastic decks. Nobody usually gets plastic decks on KS anyway.

Hopefully, he restructures his pledge levels as well. He didn't seem to understand my question in the comments about missing some levels between $12 and $42. I doubt I will be pledging though, if he sticks with Alien Ink.

Thank you all for your comments. It is very useful to read them. I am new on kickstarter. So did a lot of mistakes. I plan to return to the amendments. Once again thank you all for your experience.

Hi.
"Alien Ink - or is it Alien Slink" as we found out - it's the same thing.
We stopped cooperate with him.
Could you advise someone?
We are from Kiev, Ukraine. For this reason, we can not self-register for an account. According to the rules kickstarter.
We need a partner with the account kickstarter. He will make the payment of production of playing cards and is responsible for delivering.
Thank you.
