Hi gang!

As I near the start of the dreaded kickstarter campaign, I've been trying to nail down some of the design challenges.
This will be a novelty art deck featuring 54 original illustrations by me.
Here's a mock up of the tuck box as well as some examples of the cards and the card backs.

When I first saw the topic title I thought I would hate this, but I don't. I really quite like the art style,, and the edge to edge design.

There will be some criticism that the court cards are portrats rather than two way, that borders on the back and front of the cards seem a little inconsistent, etc. But to be honest I don't think those things matter as this clearly isn't a deck designed for magic or poker tournements.

Would definitely like to see more (the number cards for instance), but I like it for what it is; a semi novelty art deck.

Pretty much what Montecarlojoe said.
Like to see more of the faces, but like what i see so far....except the Web on the back of the cards, that could be better done i think.

Your box should have the Manufacture on it. Who is making it? It should also have the year 2014 and maybe the stock and finish.

Since you don't have suit indicators on the cards. Make your index suits as big as your heart. That is a good size. Your Diamond and Spade are to small.

I like the way you have a white border around your indices. It makes them pop out.

The pledge level for a deck of cards and an uncut sheet for $25 shipped just might get me. My budget is having a hard time with the single deck price, but the art is fun enough to go for an uncut.

I saw the $15 deck price and said 'nah', but that's a deal! Too bad I don't have the wall space, but man that's a good bargain. Ugh, what to do, what to do.

MPC is the printer. The artwork looks great. I'm in for a book and deck.

I still think that diamond and spade is to small. Oh well.

I fixed the size on the diamond and spade. Some of the images in the kickstarter are the old ones.

I really like this deck, hahaha, it's a lot of fun. I hope he puts some add-on information up and declares a stretch goal for a better card manufacturer. MPC are functional and all but I don't need to go into detail here on their shortcomings vs EPCC and USPCC.

Check out the updates hahaha, the Ace of Clubs cracked me up.

Thanks everyone! I'm super excited to have run my first kickstarter successfully, and I owe a lot of that to the excellent advice and feedback I got from here.
