The Private Reserve decks are the true, original vision for the Whispering Imps™ playing cards created by Chris Chelko, hand illustrated by world renowned artist Mark Stutzman and printed to exact specifications by The Expert Playing Card Company.
Two versions of the Private Reserves were printed for Whispering Imps Productions in extremely limited quantities. The classic back design in Imp Red, housed in a thick matte black paper tuck and stamped with the trademark Whispering Imp in Bright Red foil, and the classic back design in Black, housed in a thick matte black paper tuck and stamped with the trademark Whispering Imp in Gold foil.
The Private Reserve decks were printed in response to the Original & Special Edition decks being completely sold out and with the intent to remain a true, private reserve. Never to be sold and for the private use of those who have acquired them.

Sucks that this is a "Private Reserve", which most likely means they will end up costing more than $15/deck. If these were relatively cheap and affordable ($8?) I'd buy buckets of these. I love EPCC.
God I think you did not read properly.. These will never be for sale. meaning if you happen to see one for sale on ebay it will probably be for hundreds of dollars. I have been aware of these for a while now and no amount of bribery worked on Chris. You simply will never get that deck unless you marry his daugther

Relax lol. I wasn't aware of this deck before so I decided to post it since there was no thread on this. Yes, there is a *NOT FOR SALE* disclaimer but I'm at work and I don't really have time to do this thing you call "read" haha. I apologize for my mistake

On another note, has anyone actually seen these on eBay... or in person? These were around since July presumably, so they must be in someone's hands... unless they're just in Chris's hands foreverrr (unlikely).

Haha i almost went down the bribery lane as well, maybe the decks havent been produced and these are just prototypes ?

Hey everyone, just learned of this thread. Love the enthusiasm! While I understand that there is interest in acquiring the PR Imps decks, I'm not selling them right now simply because they were created with the intent of using them for my personal performances as a direct result of the Original Whispering Imps decks being sold out.
I'm incredibly pleased with the quality and production of these cards from EPCC. The tuck paper is 2 or 3 times as durable compared to the original Imps tuck paper. The thinner borders have perfect registration, and the overall handling has only gotten better with use. I'm thankful that Bill had allowed me to use the court cards from a very old deck he recently discovered, giving the PR decks a unique look compared to standard Bicycles or the original squeezer faces found on the original Imps.
The PR tucks are the original vision I had for the Whispering Imps a couple years ago, simply having just the Imp on the lower right corner. But being that the the cards had not previously existed, it was not a good idea (for branding purposes) to not have the name of the deck on the box...so it was added.
Lastly, only 1000 of the red foil/red backs were printed for Whispering Imps Productions. The more limited are the gold foil/black backs at 150 decks. I have the information on my website to simply show the products that Whispering Imps Productions has produced...after all...WIP is just a small business that I'm running myself.
Hahaha - ah, Chris best me here. I was going to report that no hands in marriage are available, nor the PR decks.

Any way you cut it, 1150 decks is a whole lot of decks. I have a feeling some of these will eventually be made available to the public one way or another. My bet is on them offered as a bonus for when you purchase a certain sum of items (like what E does) if they're not outright sold directly on their own.
Those look awesome Chris, I love the little changes and updates. Those tiny and perfect borders are so very nice, aren't they? It's always fun to get exactly what you originally envisioned and the reduction in design elements on the box is refreshing.

Hmmm the shop takes $22.50 to ship one uncut sheet (INTERNATIONAL) but if you choose 2 it charges $60
Just trying to calculate shipping costs for the uncut bundle or the brick deal.
The brick deal would be $80 + $33 shipping = $113. On top of that 19% customs taxes of $21.50 makes the brick deal a bargain of $135 **It's our policy to always state the actual cost of items shipped on International customs form.

Here is my shipping breakdown...those numbers are actual shipping costs. I'm not charging for materials or handling fees. Pretty sure it's the cheapest shipping rates you'll find anywhere.
