It's a common hashtag people use when posting pics of cards on Instagram. Don't worry, it doesn't actually mean the deck will be pornographic.

Ooh. Pretty. I hope the inside has a nice, vintage feel to match the outside.

True, there's a corresponding tag for motor vehicles "#carporn" and it's just meaning "extreme" as opposed to anything pornographic.

Fast is right, E usually has decks "in the making" for 5 years before they're released

Well it takes a while for them to test 500 stocks and pick the best one

They kind of have a fun "Carnival Midway" feel to them. Pimped tuck case with a pretty heavy back design and printing inside of the tuck. Fun ace as well...

Finally something new and original from the Blue Crown that isn't another NOC or Crown version!

I was able to take a look at these here (Coffee with Dan and Dave). Timestamp's around 23:00 for all the new decks they're showcasing. Sparkz on Aethercards posted this video about the Hive, but it also shows off the Boardwalk Papers, the new black Zen, and the black Zenpure.

These look fantastic, although they never show the cards.

EDIT: I had to fix this post multiple times after going over the video once more...

Same here! The detail in that tuck is incredible.

I'm intrigued, but the AoS at this point indicates a deck that *could be* pretty awesome... or pretty lame.

Having a good tuck is a plus, but it's not enough for me. If the deck isn't interesting, I'll pass. I'm optimistic that this set is going to rock, but really, there's not enough evidence one way or the other....

I agree, I think we need to see more than the tuck and the AoS.

I'm glad these are finally printed! I didn't do the design for these, but I did a lot of production work on it last year (add color, setup Tuck separations, setup face cards, prep files for printing).

I don't want to show anything that TBC hasn't yet, but Alex posted a pic of the Back Card on his Instagram. So I'll post a pic I just took from some Decks they sent over.

Thanks, Randy

Off topic note - the White Ornates left USPCC on Friday! We'll be doing a KS Update on Monday.

The back looks gorgeous. I think this deck is very promising. :)

Interesting back design, I wish there were less spokes on the ferris wheel so it would look more like one.

Randy are the courts custom ?

Nice tuck and nice back. If these are standard cards with a unique color variation then that'll be great.

I'd rather have custom courts but the tuck and back are so strong I'd buy it even if standard.

Is it just me or does this feel like the follow-up to the Vaudeville deck (you know, with the carnival theme and such)?

I certainly hope not. The illustrations on that deck were so subpar I cringed and threw away the jokers coz they creeped me out.

While I can agree about the jokers, how were the illustrations on the Vaudeville subpar?! They look amazing, the shading is great and the back design looks beautiful, too.

I'm just finnicky like that sometimes. Just little things that annoy me. Like drawing motion lines on a flipping coin. I mean who does that beyond a Roadrunner cartoon? Or inconsistently drawing chain links. Or the cartoonishly drawn cards on the joker. While whoever the illustrator was definitely shows talent, they were going for sophistication and fell somewhat short of the goal. The back and pips are definitely strong features, but the illustrations could have used some refinement.

In hindsight, subpar might have been harsh. It's not a bad deck, but it could have been slightly better.
