Long time lurker, first time poster

Hey there everyone. It's safe to say I'm new to the formal card collecting practice, but have been an enthusiast for most of my life. I recognize a lot of you from project funding and other groups I've partaken within the last year or so. I've not been very active in the past for many reasons, a growing family, being the primary. But, I'm trying to change that.
It's not an exaggeration to say that I jumped right in with both feet no more than a year ago, once I caught wind of all the recent awesomeness that most of you here have been a part of creating recently. I enjoy a good deck in my hands just as well as on the shelf.
What I have seen so far here, I am impressed and excited to have a place to get some insight and share some of my collecting enthusiasms with others who have so much love for this thing of ours. There's obviously a rich history in playing cards. But, I'm glad to be getting involved now while a little more history is being made.
