In for an EB 1 of each so far. This is probably my favorite of the 3 decks RJ has done so far, I'll probably end up adding a few more on later, maybe an uncut. (Really need to start making some frames up but it's damn hot in my garage nowadays.)
The Limited edition tucks pops more and will compliment Civil Unrest. I notice a lot of KS projects using the old school look (Calaveras and Frontier) which I don't mind.

I'm the odd man out on this one. I liked the tongue in cheek nature of the first two. These look like sketches for a Jackson deck for me. No offense RJ, I like your work!

No offense taken. It's not everyone's cup of tea. For the Unrest Series since it spans a huge length of time in terms of design... I try to come up with something that I could imagine for that era. Even tough it's not really what you would see but it's the "Disney" version what you would see.
I love companion booklets, but $14? Seems excessive for just a booklet. And $4 INT shipping for something flat and extremely light? I would think it can fit into any package with 2 or more decks without any additional shipping. If it doesn't, maybe you should rethink the size before printing it.

Your right, I had the Int. shipping a little too high. I lowered it down to $1. With an add-on like this you can only assume you'll sell a small quantity and being that it's so much labor involved (being that it's a 36 page book featuring 52 people) you need to set the price at this point. It's really only a few dollars more than printing. Of course as quantities go up the price comes down but you typically don't sell these type of add-ons like hotcakes.

At a lower price point and package deals in pledge levels, I think they'd sell fairly well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Round 1 voting has started for Colonial Unrest placement. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/V6XHHRG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
So far the voting results have concluded George Washington should be on the Ace of Spades. In addition, Samuel Adams has gone to the 9 of Spades and John Adams to the Ace of Clubs. I also changed the name banner on the numbered cards.
Now that we're nearly funded we need to think about stretch goals. Normally I get funded near the end of the project so I never had to deal with stretch goals before. lol I did a survey and it seems a lot of people want upgraded tuck case options like embossing. I have a quote in with USPCC but was wondering if anyone on her would have a rough estimate? Also, does anyone have other stretch goals I should offer?
The box looks great. Any word on the second round of voting? $137 until funding. I checked my budget to see if I could help with that but I have squeezed it dry. Hopefully today it gets funded!
So far it looks like Charles Cornwallis will move up to one of the court cards (as of right now Jack of Diamonds). Benjamin Tallmadge will be going to a numbered cards (as of right now 7 of Spades). The majority of the voters wanted an additional split joker scene similar to the Boston Tea Party (probably the signing of the Declarition). Most people want to see upgrades to the tuck case such as embossing, paper stock upgrade and printing inside the tuck. I have a quote in to USPCC for some tuck case upgrades. I should find out today how much to set the stretch goals for those options.

Thanks Robert. All looks good to me and I agree with the tuck upgrades as well.
I was hoping to get to the point where I could do both of these designs but as fate would have it... I'll have to decide between the two. Should I go for a more authentic vintage look or the more modern look? For the vintage look the "Kickstarter Exclusive" deck would have an aged tuck case and also be wrapped in aged vellum parchment. The modern back design option would have a slight alteration to the colors for the "Kickstarter Exclusive" deck. This would also be wrapped in aged vellum parchment. If we hit our $18,000 stretch goal the aged vellum wrapper will be embossed.
Also, what would look better... a faded map in the background (similar to what I did with Global Unrest) or do a faded Declaration of Independace?
Aw man, that's a shame. Both would have been awesome. The vintage look would definitely be more "appropriate", but I just like that modern look too much. I also vote for faded Declaration of Independence - you've already done a map on one deck.
