But in all seriousness I've never done it. Might sound stupid but I believe in fair share. One chance to get the best that you can and as most as you can. No finding loopholes and stuff. No double dipping or getting back into the queue at the supermarket with a fake mustache or sending the missus so I can sample another round of free cheese and crackers.

But hey, it's ok when you guys do it as long as it's for the right reasons. As in you like it so much you want seconds..and not to flip it for a big sum to some other collector who missed out. That's just shady.

But I almost always stick to my principles. Even if it's inconvenient for me, if I wouldn't want someone else to do it then I don't do it myself. When things like these happen I always tell my friends, "That's how corruption starts."

I just don't understand why someone would go to the trouble. Early birds usually just save you 2-3 bucks, not worth the hassle of setting up and keeping track of another account and multiple pledges. And then there's the fair share, what can I say, I passed kindergarten with flying colors with my willingness to share.

Maybe others do it for the LE decks. Like in the case Jackson's Sherlock Holmes. The max amount of LE decks one account could get was only 2. I did think about making another account for the Clipped Wings campaign but I'd be paying twice for int. shipping.

I figure this is where this should be to save messing up another thread. It has really started getting on my nerves how people are whining so much about not getting in on LEs. They did it with Jody's golden spike and he caved in and added 500 more. That was a bad move for any collectible industry. Now these whiny people will think all they have to do is whine and the creator will add more. Now we have Erik with the Mana Sybil deck. Complaining about not getting in on LEs and now someone suggested telling those with higher tiers that they should choose their tier or a signature series tier. This is beginning to ruin this industry for me.

The Golden Spike one was possibly legit because it was a LE as an add-on and it was very unclear how he was tracking it. It seemed to be he was saying at $x amount there would be some left, but then also only if you let him know...but wasn't clear if message or comment (like Made was doing), etc.

I understand how much it sucks to miss out on a limited deck that you really wanted. Even more when you/I had an earlier opportunity to get it, and right before the end they are gone so you end up kicking yourself in the teeth (hard to do.... But not impossible). A small example, although not directly the same as, for me would be the Grotesque Signature edition. This was at the beginning of my playing card collecting career, so I have that excuse.

So I don't think there is anything bad letting people know how disappointed you are on missing out on a particular deck due to its availability/budget/timing. But sometimes people are overdoing it when they start name-calling the designer or buyer. And heaven forbid if someone wants to make a buck over it. What are you guys/gals, a bunch of commies/socialists? And of course they don't whine about it in one post, but over, over, over, and over again.

Personally, the resentment and hypocrisy of some people gets a bit to much for me.

This is what happens when everyone gets a special certificate for attending class back when they were 8 years old.
