Looks like I replied to the deleted version of this....
Definitely in for a gold, love that art deco back, especially with the black background. Not sure about silver yet. Would be nice to see ALL the court cards, wonder if they are still in design mode.

I actually like the silver more than the gold, but still not too interested in the genre.

They don't look bad but I do have a feeling there is could definitely be an issue. there's too much likeness in some of them.

I kinda like this one, also. Nice deck, a few loose ends, but that's always the case - well ALMOST always... YMWV, as always ("Your Mileage Will Vary").

Either way, I'm loving the pin stripes on the inside of the tucks. Aces are great! I like how they used the red on all the courts. In for one of each, EB.

Nothing wrong with these cards. If the AoS is the same as the pips. I can assume they will have a big old right top corner suit badge. I would like to see the pips before I give the seal of approval. This guy might be on to something....

I might pledge for both! I really like how the courts and backs are different in each deck. The black deck looks better.

Wow didn't even notice that the courts were different between the two decks until Bike brought it up. That's awesome and I might go for both now.

I'm liking this one very much! Would love to see the spot cards just to know how they look!

I'm still waiting for my vikings, I have no doubt that they will come but I would like to get them before committing to another one of their projects.

Were the designs pre-approved by the Bicycle folks?
They don't have the rights to use the images they are using, do they?
The King of Hearts and the King of Spades already put this in the 100% infringement zone.

Update #7: Limited Edition Cotton Club and Stork Club Decks with matching numbered and hand signed coins (an industry first)!
I think I'm done with Crooked Kings. Too many "Limited Edition" tucks & not enough changes to the Limited Edition cards themselves to justify the higher price. They did this with Vikings too. I didn't approve of it then, and I still don't approve of it now. The coin thing is interesting, but I don't collect coins and it's just a way for them to increase the prices on the Limited Edition decks. Dropped my EB Double Double pledge.

The Cotton Club LE coin comes in a very stylish black nickel finish (the most expensive finish in the coin market), opposed to the antique silver finish on the standard coins.
And, to top it all off, each coin will have a matte paint fill on the back, where we will actually hand sign each coin!!! That's an industry first!
The coins will be have edge text which will correspond to the matching deck you get.

I feel the exact same way.
It is a shame because I do like their cards. The problem is I am too much of a completionist and with all the LE decks with no changes it just turns me off.
I was in for the full boat on the Viking drecks ... Went in on the first set. And second set of LE decks. Then they came out with a limited set and tumbler ( and who knows what else), I just dropped the whole pledge at that point.

I like the original tucks better. I dunno if I'll get the two LE decks. I'm normally a completionist, but right now I don't like the design of the LE tuck enough to want to pledge for it.
