I just knew there was a baseball theme with JR's new Avatar. 8-)

Can't say I care for baseball - but it's a King's Wild deck, so you just know it's going to be awesome!

(So hard not to say it'll be a 'home run' . *titter* )

I'm not a baseball guy either but if it's custom courts (which it is) then I'm in. It's probably going to be a battlefield though with an edition of just 1000.

I don't think so. It's a promotional deck, not my place to detail. Jackson?

Seems like Jackson has developed his style. I bet if you were only shown the Back of Card you could probably guess it was from him.

The bat seems a bit over drawn. It looks a little to fat...

So many teaser decks, too few real ones... yet.

I hate baseball.

So... I'm not really drooling over this one.

This may be the first tine I pick up just a couple of Jackson's decks. Love his work but I'd rather watch paint dry than a baseball game.

Baseball does not excite me, but good design does.

Truth be told, Sherlock Holmes does not excite me (I know, sacrilege, esp. coming from a writer and a skeptic.) And yet... those Sherlock Holmes decks by JR are a freaking masterpiece, and among the most prized in my collection.

I love the looks of this teaser, and I expect I'll be all in on this one.

Mike, no offence but after the "Something Wicked..." thread please don't talk to me about patience ;)

Three different editions with probably a few more to go... Can't he just keep it to one or two decks! :|

At least the 3 backs are distinctively different.

i would say you need a lot of balls to launch this sort of deck.. probably 4.

But from the look of the backs of the cards, it could be a home run this deck,

but then again if the courts aren't custom it could be a strike out, and then it won't even reach first base.

Rounding first with the blue backs are JR and crew, headed for a slide into second with a red back. The throw misses and he rounds that base and slides into third with a green jersey. Let's see if he goes for home - I'm not aware of all the details, and Jackson hasn't shared much, but I knew this was coming. I'll let him be the one to fill in the specifics.

I think we all knew this was coming the moment Jackson changed his avatar. I'm a huge fan of baseball. If the courts are going to be baseball greats, I hope it won't get too NY Skankees, I mean Yankees, centric. I have to agree with Sprouts in that the baseball bats in the first design don't look like they're the right shape.

I'm a little apprehensive about that 1000 print run deck seal, it reeks of EPCC, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for the USPCC. I'll have to call B.S. if a deck commemorating our national pastime is outsourced and produced by a Taiwanese/overseas factory....

Nothing wrong with EPCC in my book but I guess it is all about preferences.

The National Past Time Deck will ONLY center around the Dead Ball Era and it's major players. As for who is going to print the decks thats still up for grabs. I have both USPCC and EPCC doing some crazy experiment prototypes for me. I do understand that it makes sense to print a national past time deck in the US but my main focus is producing a high quality deck and push the boundaries of the playing card production world. When it comes down to it their things the USPCC and or EPCC can and can't do. (and I'm not just talking about print run as that is old barrier that has been long broken) Even though EPCC may print cards in China it doesn't mean they still aren't a non profit organization that send most of there proceeds to charity organizations. I'm not Knockin USPCC but they aren't doing that.

My top priority will always be who can produce the highest quality deck in the way I envision it.

Love these, especially the ones in the first picture. And with these Jackson can reach an even bigger customer base considering how many baseball fans there are in the US, so I see no problem getting these sold.

(Jackson - I sent you a pm a little while back on the other forum, not sure if you've seen it yet.)

I think we need a release schedule from KWP. There's a lot of upcoming KWP decks, and there's new teasers coming out every week. We have...

Independence (KS funded)
Moriarty V2 (KS funded)
Hive
Army
Turtleback Tallys
Baseball
Crimson Arrow / Navigators
Fed 52 2nd Ed
KWP Signature Series
Marines

Are all of these planned for a 2014 release? :O

On topic, I love these baseball designs. I really hope they're UPSCC, but that's just personal preference. I do know that if it's UPSCC, I'll be getting 4 of each. Otherwise, EPCC = 2 of each for me.

EDIT: Added Army, Marines & KWP Signature Series

Add Army to the list... and the rest of the troops soon too.
