Hello everyone,

My name is Arthur Leung. I've just recently gotten into collecting playing cards 6 months ago, when I first saw a Kickstarter for Uncommon Beat's Black Book of Playing Cards, and Chris Ovdiyenko's Oracle Playing Cards. I funded both, and now here I am... with too much to play with and not enough to spend with. I can still hear my wallet sobbing at night...

I'm mostly interested in fully custom decks, such as the Artifice V1/2 and Utopia decks. However, I enjoy partially-custom decks such as Artisans and Monarchs too. Unfortunately, I've had to become more and more selective, so I had to pass on Jackson Robinson's Independence so I could order a Limited Edition Grotesque deck...

I think my favorite decks would have to be Venexiana, Bohemia, and Utopia. I love the Venexiana courts, and the giant fans with Bohemia and Utopia. I'm looking forward to Grotesque, JR's Sherlock, Pagan, and Requiem.

Hope I get along with all of you in the years to come :) $penders together forever ;)

Lol late reply. Just wanted to say that I simply didn't like the Independence back design. To each his own.

Let me know if you ever want to combine shipping & order some decks together. I have a US PO box in Point Roberts so you can save on shipping (although you'd be receiving packages much slower, since we'd have to plan when & where to pick em up, when & where to meet, etc). It may be more of a hassle for you, but the offer's still there.

Nice idea, but the ransom they make us pay to leave the island by ferry is ridiculous and I don't get over to Vancouver very often. Still I'll keep it in mind, and many thanks for the offer. :) Where are you in Vancouver? I'm in Parksville at the moment.

I also did not like the Independence. I could appreciate the craft involved but it didn't appeal to me aesthetically.

I live in Richmond, a good 4~5 hours away from Parksville.

The Independence courts & diptychs were amazing, but I couldn't justify paying $20+ per deck for the full experience. Can't wait for his Turtleback Tallys, and Hives, and Baseballs :D

I feel like my Wallet is in the boxing ring with Hobby, and Hobby is currently beating the living snot out of Wallet.
