I have been working on this idea for a while, and was planning on posting it once I was a little further along, but I have scrapped the idea so I thought I might as well show y'all.

here was the back design: ( yes, I know, the borders are too big.)

and the ace of spades basic design:

I am scrapping it because ultimately any representation of fractals will be disappointing, as they can never show the full (infinite) detail and beauty. that and I really don't think the printing process would be high res enough, and I have a much better idea 8-)

anyway, I thought you might be interested.

It IS an interesting concept, so thanks for sharing :)

Yes, I guess the medium of playing cards is a bit limiting for something like this. Also hard to gauge interest in such a theme.

I think you actually have an interesting concept here. It's minimal without going too far to the extreme, like some recent decks have.

I would encourage you to consider entering your design in this contest. The winning design gets published and sold by Expert PCC and the designer receives 36 bricks of his deck.

The absolute worst thing that could happen? You don't win, so you're no better or worse off.

The best thing? Obviously, winning! You won't just be a designer, you'll be an AWARD-WINNING designer.

And believe it or not, there's something in-between. You develop your idea, get exposure for it, and just maybe either get the motivation to Kickstart it or you catch the attention of a deck design company looking for an artist.
