Greetings from Fullerton, California!

O.K.
I've been lurking here long enough, learning as much as I can from the forums, and having a great time discovering decks of cards that I didn't even know existed, or were coming soon to Kickstarter and elsewhere. Of course, my wife cringes every time I find one more thing to "collect;" and she kind of wishes I'd forget the addresses for Amazon, Ebay, and Kickstarter!
I'm a retired Environmental Specialist, enjoying my "free" time collecting cards and card magic; and learning to do what tricks I can with my old hands.
I'm mostly known on Flickr, YouTube, and my own blog (if anyone does a quick Google search) for my online Lovecraftian audio and visual efforts as CthulhuWho1; but this doesn't mean I'm only collecting Cthulhu based decks; far from it.
I collect decks of all kinds, from all over the world, and never get tired of seeing something new.
In order to say Thank You for this web site, I've prepared scans of some of my favorite, rarely seen Ukrainian playing cards (along with a link to the place I've found to buy decks if you like them), that I'll post as soon as I get posting access.
I'm also working on my own first deck, with a mixture of classic and new elements, plus card reveals, that I'm planning for a Kickstarter project; but only after I give everyone here advance notice, so United Cardists folks will have access to the Early Bird specials before most people.
More later along with the promised images; and if you are a card collector, and you haven't collected any Ukrainian cards, you are in for a visual treat!
Will
