I just heard from Linnea Gits and arranged for UC to get an exclusive preview including pix for their 5th deck, which should come our way here in about 1 week, likely for a KS project in April. The theme and details are a closely guarded secret until then but it will be another newsworthy thing about playing cards that "You Heard it Here First"!

Updated to show date of kickstarter project start: 26-April-2014 at 10AM Eastern!

and now updated to show the project live (and 67% funded in just over 3 hours) with $20,000 of the $30K goal.

I will make my standard pledge unseen, but it will be nice to see it first.

Linnea and Peter are class acts. I'm sorry to hear about their recent loss, and I hope they are taking the time to heal as best they can. The fact that they are back to applying their creativity to this art is wonderful, and I hope their work brings as much joy to them as it brings to us. Cheers to them, and cheers to the whole community. I'm very much looking forward to seeing this next project.

I think all of us are going to really like this one, and that's a pretty easy guess with Uusi's track record, but I think this one's going down an alley they haven't travelled before. Like I said, I can't really say until Peter & Linnea are ready to spill the beans, so keep your eyes peeled on this thread. When the time is right - one of both will be here to give UC an exclusive preview and insight into the decks. Like I already said (several times?), I'm thinking everybody is going to love it!

Is there anyway to receive email notifications when there is a new post on this thread or any of the other threads that I'm interested in? I'm so excited for this.

This morning I received a 'heads-up' from Linnea and am now able to reveal the name of the deck, although any details I will leave to her and Peter when they post the UC exclusive preview of the deck on March 20th, the first day of spring. I'm seeing a little refreshing trend here: expect the unexpected as they like to say on "Big Brother"!

I know that I am tipping my hand and the exclusive will be worldwide by the next day, but I also so appreciate the fact that they are willing to let you "See it Here First" that I am willing to give everybody the good news that one week from today IS the day to check back, and as always, don't expect a full reveal: they are as good with teases as I am, so there will be plenty to wet your appetite, but as always the courts and deck faces will be a journey as is the case with most of the best artists these days. "Stay tuned"!

I don't quote private email, but I'll paraphrase a bit and say "expect something fresh and exciting" on the first day of spring!

I do know the theme, but in respect for their agreement to give us an exclusive preview here, I can't say. They will reveal the key elements a week from today. Not even close, Joe - I will say that much, but unfortunately I can't give clues without pretty much giving it away. It will be different, as every one of their decks has been, and I don't know for a fact but suspect that they will as usual utilize some different medium than their previous decks as has been historically true. "We'll see", literally!

Hey Sher, I have this weird recollection of someone already responding to this question for you somewhere, but it clearly wasn't in this thread. So sorry if this is redundant...

If you go to the very bottom left side of any thread, there is a "subscribe topic" link. If you click that it'll make it so you get an email whenever a new message is posted.

Thanks, th4mo! I didn't see any responses in any threads, but Mike messaged me in response to my post with instructions on how to do it. I didn't notice the tiny "subscribe topic" link in the corner until you guys pointed it out. Thanks for responding, anyway. Your post may help others who also have not noticed the subscribe link.
