Mike, how do you like the faces? The back pictured looks okaayyy, but doesn't make me think I'd pay more than $6 for it....

Pretty much standard, but I am one of those people who does not open my decks in general. I suppose I might get a few more so I can have one to play with.
See the pix above that I just posted...

I'd like these a lot more if they were borderless. White borders around a stealth design doesn't really make much sense

Is it me or did a year's work with a world class designer just come up with a black Diamond Cut?
Can't say I'm a fan.

judging by the pictures : so far not impressed at all - thick borders, the back design isn´t very eye catching rather boring compared to whats been released on decks the few months ago.Hearing that the deck has standard courts makes my intereste level go to zero.
The Questionmark deck by Coterie however is a nice designed deck!

I'm not even tempted to add this to my collection. This reminds me of that Kickstarter deck that had diamonds on the back design that failed miserably. That designer kept on changing the back, and these Dark Diamonds remind me of one of the iterations. Boring, one-way back design, huge wide borders, minimal customization of courts and pips, bland tuck box - what is there to get excited about? Novel gaff cards won't be enough to carry this deck.
Didn't Zenneth sing the praises of that new overseas card manufacturer? I think it is located in Taiwan. I find it interesting that the last two offerings that Coterie rolled out (Question and Dark Diamond) are USPCC decks and not the supposedly awesome overseas manufacturer.

These are up and available on the Coterie website. Zenneth did say that he wouldn't partner with USPCC but I believe that he's just involved with marketing and selling these overseas. The design and production is entirely by another company. Also, this was probably in the works before USPCC screwed Zenneth over.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to release these at the same time as the other deck a couple days ago?

I like the back design and for the first time ever, I have to agree with Neo- these would look better borderless. The tuck is one of the most borring looking things ever. And since I don't open most of my decks, this is a hard pass for me.

Hahaha I agree with your avatar but not on the subject of borders! I like 'em! For the most part..

Well, I'm not generally opposed to borders. The thickness, on the other hand...

Have to agree with you and comicsecret, to me this is a boring deck made worse by standard faces. It does remind me of the second System6 deck with the prismatic theme, which I didn't like either. (Really liked their first deck though) I like a lot if Zenneth's work but this just leaves me flat.

Undskyld, guys? Did you read my first post? It was done by Triplus, a Chinese card collecting group.

Can't say I'm a fan.
The Diamond Cut deck crossed my mind too. I wonder if anyone on here or the guy's haters has his deck.

Another one that I went all in on. I still have not received my deck.

Exactly the case here...
Bee Dark Diamond wasn't conceptualized or designed by me, it's by Triplus.
My involvement is limited to sales and promotion of this deck, making them available on Coterie1902 for sales outside China.
With regard to USPCC, they still make high quality playing cards and I still use/collect USPCC made playing cards,
it's just that I had too much frustration working on customized deck projects with USPCC and indeed absolutely not interested in doing branded deck with USPCC again.

Hey guys,
I have made two videos with Triplus to show some basic applications of the QR card that comes with the Dark Diamond Playing Cards.
Here's the performance video of one of the easiest magic applications.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1ZkbAR ... e=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
In the explanation video there is more detailed introduction of the system and 1 more application.
Thanks,
Zenneth
