Re: Spain
Really really nice courts, wish the backs were better. My dear friend if you come across these again at a bargain price, let me know =D

Re: Spain
Great decks Jase! I find the Europe illustrations especially appealing.
Do you know if Fournier released these simultaneously in Spanish, or were they only for the English speaking/reading market?

Re: Spain
I am very much anticipating that patience set
Do all the Fournier decks you showed here have multilingual booklets?

Well, I can't let Jase have all the fun now, can I?
Fournier Black Pack
Quote from WOPC:
A modern Chinese knockoff deck of the Fournier No.12. Faithful but sloppy copying of most of the design except the Ace and the back.

Fournier No. 20:
A modern, standardized version of No. 12 Vitoria. Complete with two + extra joker, 8s, 9s and J,Q,K.
Ruedo Victoria
c. 1970s, a circular variant of the Fournier No.12. Pretty trippy.

Re: Spain
These, and the Neoclasica deck, are very handsome cards, but those may be the nastiest and most menacing looking clubs I've ever seen in a Spanish deck I love it.
Interesting blue too. Very nice find Jase.

Re: Spain
Ive always wanted the neoclassica deck, but i always end up being very turned off by that back design, simply because the style is completely different, i would have preferred the design on the box a hundred times more !

Re: Spain
I have to agree with you there V. The Neoclasica back looks rather like wallpaper. I much prefer the Siglo

Kukuxumusu - Fournier (2006)
Kukuxumusu designed in 2006 the first adaptation of the classic Heraclio Fournier deck of playing cards. (see Vitoria No. 12 on first page)
Using Kukusumusu characters instead of the traditional courts, fun variations adorn the entire deck. However it still maintains the spirit of the original design with over 100 years of history.

Mingote No. 2 (Fournier 1968) MYR Ediciones
A follow up to the first deck, in this one, Antonio took a few more liberties in sneaking more of his humor with some doodles in the two and fours of each suit.

Baraja "Aspañola" Calico Electrónico - Fournier 2009
Based off the Flash animated webseries, known for it's offbeat and often crude humor. The courts depict our "hero" Calico Electronico and other characters from the series such as Muzaman the simpleton superhero, a drug addled parody of Doraemon a Nobita, among others.
