Pr1me Sketch Edition Playing Cards
Just got an email from Tannen's who released the Pr1me Sketch Edition Playing Cards. These cards look soo sick! Looks like Tannen's and the Conjuring Arts Research Center are the only ones in the United States that have them.

Re: Pr1me Sketch Edition Playing Cards
No problem, I ordered the dozen at 10% off. Loved the original Pr1me's so I'm psyched to get these!

Re: Pr1me Sketch Edition Playing Cards
Got mine today direct from Pr1me. Numbered in the 1500s (4 decks). They are wrapped on the inside, will try to post a pic later once I open a deck.

Re: Pr1me Sketch Edition Playing Cards
Does anyone know who printed these? I assume it's not USPCC because I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere, but they feel quite nice. "Different" somehow from the USPCC decks, maybe glossier and a little smoother. Nice though, I really like playing with it.
I got a pretty low number (632) on mine, ordered from Conjuring Arts.

Re: Pr1me Sketch Edition Playing Cards
These are not USPC cards. Pr1me playing cards have their own factories in Italy and China to produce their cards. Apparently, Pr1me manufactures their card stock and linen finish from their Chinese factory. The design, final finishing, and packaging are done in their factory in Rome.Encarded wrote:Does anyone know who printed these? I like these cards, primarily for their very thin borders and perfect centering. But to suggest these decks resemble Jerry's Nuggets is an extreme stretch. The stock is not as thin, and nowhere as stiff, as JNs, though they fan more evenly than JNs. The box is very cheap, I really dislike the bottom flap that tucks into the bottom of the box, it gets in the way of inserting the cards back into the box. They should just glue the bottom to avoid this problem. I was excited about the numbering of the decks, but when I got mine, the numbering was just someone writing the numbers by hand at the bottom of the box, and the ink is starting to rub off on one of my decks. Having said all this, the Sketch Edition is still very cool because of the hand-drawn vibe and I'm glad I got my decks.

I also agree with Massimo, pr1me decks are the best cards among the standard cards in the world, PERIOD.
I'm looking forward to receiving the sketch edition soon

I was fortunate enough to score some lower numbers (554 & 558) from an auction on Ebay... though the permanent marker the person used to number these has already shown signs of smudging... same with other decks and autographs... *sigh*Encarded wrote:I got a pretty low number (632) on mine, ordered from Conjuring Arts.
So has anyone cracked one of these open to see how the inner cards were wrapped?
*Note : The plastic sleeves on these decks were added by me.

Yes, it's fairly easy to just open the bottom of the tuck. They cards inside are cello wrapped.MJF wrote:
