custom decks

Unread post by Mondo »

Being new to deck collecting I purchased a few decks from ebay, they have the sellers name printed on one side of the deck.I have done a search on here and a bit of info has come up about the seller(merz67).There is nothing wrong with the decks, its just a bit annoying that it has his name on them in such a bold way.Are they his own design or reprints? Are these decks worth collecting?

In terms of being sought after and how many have been printed; no, they're not "worth" collecting. But any deck is worth collecting if you like it.

The reason his name is on them is because he "designed" them and got them printed (I put designed in quotes because he pretty much just uses clip art). Most decks will have the name of their producer on the box anyway (e.g. Ellusionist, Theory11 etc).

Thanks, I guess I made my first newbie mistake then.I realise most decks are designed by companys/ artists then printed by uspcc, some are better artists than others
