They claim only to have used AI for colour balancing and "enhancing detail consistency" yet from the images I have seen it's clear just looking at the hands on the court cards that AI was extensively used. Easy pass for that reason for me. I'm not against AI, I'm just against lying about it.

I have never been a video gamer but I cannot see why video games are relevant to this theme
The pixel-art texture nods to nostalgic video games of the past, while the detailed ornamentation reflects the opulence of imperial craftsmanship.
:ugthink:

Not for me - I think I mostly dislike the 'warm tones' and borders that turn me off

Are you referring to the area of the Queen's hand holding the human heart like object?

There's definitely that example. Another is the intro image. The pinky is cut off so abruptly that no artist who could draw such a court card would do. Even if it wasn't AI, this feels too generic and similar to AI-adjacent projects. It wouldn't stand out much in my collection and I will pass.

Not bad, but not $15 good either. Courts are way too similar and I never really got into the 3D style art for the pips and backs.

Also: The King of Spades' massive index finger.

Let's pack it up boys. The expert on fingerz has provided his verdict.

One massive middle finger to disingenuousness.
