The Chicago Skyscraper Playing Cards celebrate the evolution of the skyscraper typology from the late 19th to the early 21st centuries. Each deck features fifteen illustrations by Wonder City Studio depicting some of Chicago's most iconic buildings — from the Monadnock Building (1891) to Marina City (1967) to the St Regis (2020).
Designed by Peacham, a creative agency that makes history fun and cool, the playing cards come packaged in an elegant foil-stamped tuck box with embossed detailing. The card backs display an interlocking I-beam pattern that evokes structural steel, a defining characteristic of the skyscraper building type.
The Chicago Skyscraper Playing Cards were produced in collaboration with the Chicago Architecture Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring people to discover why design matters. The cards are printed on premium paper stock by the Expert Playing Card Company, and are designed to meet the needs of enthusiasts, collectors, magicians, and professional card-players.

Oooooooh yeah. The buildings are great in Chicago, I love a good celebration of a city in graphic form. Good work. Nice subtle tuck too.

That steal beam pattern on the back and tuck is a nice detail.

Copper foil to imitate rust could be dope.
