Pixel Kingdom playing cards - Sapphire Blue Edition

Unread post by Plan52 »

Hey everyone,
after a few years of magical slumber, we finally got rid of our curse and are now back with our next deck.
We improved the design of the Pixel Kingdom Ruby Red Edition multiple times in the last years so we are kinda late to the feedback part this time.
All of the improvements are either based on feedback from the red edition or based on our drive to improve.

We already sent the print files to WJPC to get prototypes so the design is pretty settled.
However, it would be amazing to get some feedback on the campaign itself.

Very well done. The information was concise and all encompassing with great images, including the estimated timelines.

Looks really nice. I think the KS page looks good as well :)

Does WJPC provide prototypes of the cards at additional costs or is this a standard thing they offer?

Thank you both for the good feedback. I am thrilled to read that!

You can get 5 samples for free at WJPC, unfortunately they are not printed the same way as the final decks. If you want more samples you need to negotiate and it might get more expensive.
If you want prototypes with embossing and foil that would cost at least 300 dollars extra because that's the price for the mold.
(You won't be able to use the mold for the final decks, because they use a different machine for the smaller prototype print runs. We tried to ask for that.)

The prototypes are done and on the way to me:

I am excited to finally feel them and check if all the details came out correctly.
