This actually a very nicely designed deck, IMHO. Custom pips, nice thematic courts. The face cards captures the theme very well. Back looks lacking compared to the faces. Doesn't grab me. Tuck is average. But I like the fun Christmas feel and his design style.

It's a pity it won't fund. Too ambitious at $18+k funding goal in this current state. I don't mind MPC as Christmas decks are more for design theme than anything else. But 2 decks? Nice that the green deck is an option rather than a set. But the green should have been a stretch goal to lower the funding goal.

The biggest killer is the shipping cost. $24 total for 1 basic deck and $29 for the green deck shipped to the US and only for selected countries. Why, when MPC is shipping it out from HK?

I like this deck, but I really do hope he works out something better in terms of his costs or he's not going to get any decks funded.

I adore this deck's illos and design (I'm especially a sucker for custom pips like on the green deck) but Eric is spot on that this is just too expensive for what it is. And I'm about done supporting Kickstarters for anyone without a WELL established track record, as sad as that is.
