Here are a few more images from a Facebook post he shared a few days ago. Looks promising, despite being a saturated theme.

The E is somewhat hard to read on the front of the tuck, leading me to first read GYPT.

Despite how many Egypt themed decks have been done, I still have to find one that suits me fancy.

Hi,

Several have exploited the theme, not all of them had the graphic quality that we can observe here. I really like the tuck box, but these are the cards that really satisfy me... For example, the Jack of Hearts is magnificent with its two vertical stripes and its sand-colored center. I like this presentation better than the "Ark" one we saw recently (who are difficult to read). These cards are more playable, easy to read and the colors are beautiful. I prefer the standard edition for its colors... the Black edition leaves me cold (lack of colors). I'm curious to see the gilded one...

I don't know about "more playable" when they use customized pips for diamonds and clubs.

Would like to see more of this. Are all of those gold on the cards foil, or atleast metallic ink? If not, I'm curious to see how the renders would translate those into paper.

It does look like the "black edition" may be using metallic inks for the characters, but at the cost of pretty much all detail in the original art.

After another deck I got today Im not sure Im backing any more "art" decks that dont have foil\metallic inks on them any more, but that use doesnt excite me either.

I do like the artwork but there are so many versions. Plus with this being a theme revisited many times, it makes it harder to commit. I am a sucker for that blue and sandstone color palette...

The Good, FINALLY, Egyptian theme deck that decides to have Bastet as a cat headed

The Bad, slightly confusing tiers and slightly confusing descriptions

The Ugly, the MANY tuck box variants (4) for the Standard Edition, then followed by Black Edition (2).

I kind of like this one. Sadly by normal metrics (60-75% of funding in the first day) it won’t fund, even at a reasonably low goal. And what I really want is in the stretch goals.

Charging $6 for a tracking number though…..that’s a new one.

I’ll keep an eye on it though.

This one has me waiting post KS. If it funds then I can get 1 or 2 decks later and avoid some risk while saving money. If it doesn't fund then oh well.

What is " hotfoil on all the inside cards"... inside of tucks or on the cards?

Even though I backed previous ones, I will not be backing this one. I added some Ghost decks in their last campaign. When I received the rewards one of the Ghost decks was not included. I asked about it and they replied that GW ran out of copies of that deck. What bothered me is that they never let me know about it and left it for me to discover. Maybe they were hoping I would not notice? When I I questioned this, they got a bit of an attitude with me. They ended up giving me a choice of a different deck or a refund. I took the refund which they promptly gave me.

20€ and have to buy a white or black deck to get the other colors? The tiers are a bit jumbled and the shipping cost thing.... KS is still losing stock with me.

There are only 2 decks, the rest is different tucks which will be chosen in the backer manager.

It is definitely a little bit of a mess.

this is a tier title " Egypt Mhytology standrad x 1"

My level of faith in this producer only extends to one deck.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the TON of incorrectly spelled words on just the tier titles alone.....Doesn't bode well for the attention to detail regarding the actual product folks are paying for...

They've done a great job fulfilling their previous campaigns, so I'll give him that. I have an Eve deck and the three Arabian Nights decks along with the book that was really well done, including foiling on the front.

English is not his native language but the numerous spelling errors doesn't spark much confidence in quality control this time around. No idea what happened there.

Well this campaign is taking a turn

Threatening to repost as an lower quality deck if they don’t get a major influx.

But they did reduce prices.
The project is currently dead! It is obvious that since the end of the early birds everything has slowed down extremely. This has led the creators to consider that some things have to change in the prices of the rewards.

We think that our prices are perhaps too high. For this reason we will try to update all rewards to lower prices without lowering the quality of the decks.
This is a big blow to the creators' profits, as some rewards are offered almost at production price, but we understand that this is the only thing we can try to do to save the campaign.

On the other hand, the creators want to make it clear that there will be no more price drops. This project is designed to offer a high quality product that is now offered at a great price. If even after this price drop the project does not revive in the next few days, it will be necessary to cancel it and relaunch it again with a change in the materials of the deck and printing company to reduce production costs and set a target of funding and prices to what our audience is asking for

Who's printing these decks? Lowering the prices will have different effects on people. For me it doesn't bode well. Going from 23€ to 18€ and this is a huge decrease in profits? How much are production costs if selling a ks deck for 18€ is just scraping by... or at least that is the jyst of what I'm understanding is being said.

Seeing the cards, the price is barely the issue.

Why would anyone keep a pledge at a higher price point than they have to. Of course it lost money.

I get most of my ks decks in shops afterwards and usually pay anywhere from 8-11$ usd with free shipping. If I see high ks prices then I will usually pass.

If anyone is interesting they re-launched a simplified campaign with cheaper decks,

Which is to say NONE Of the decks have foiling or metallic elements (and because of which Im out I have enough plain decks) unless they make 2x their goal.

Be aware of that because although they say that in the body the gold cards in the header are currently NOT part of the campaign.

the decks are now WJPC, using EPCC if the metallic deck ends up happening.

Ridiculously long KS page - I needed a coffee break half way through :ugthink:

Going on their last launch you would think they should easily get 2x's this new goal to stretch to foils/metals but sometimes you only get one chance
