How the heck did such a new company get the license for this?

With the amount of deck cut tuckboxes now, I think it'd be neat if someone employed the pull strip. Like in this case, godzilla firing a beam out of his mouth. Funny how children book gimmicks are making its way into tuckboxes. The other plague doctor one had the pop up feature which was cool too.

And I did get the recent Roomone Japanese Demons deck so I'll at least give it a look

Don't worry! We've put effort into the cards too, not just the tuck. We have standard editions without the 3D Accordion box, and the tuck design is totally different.

We totally get your curiosity about how we managed to snag the license for the awesome Godzilla x Kong , especially considering we're a newer company & the licensor are Toho & Legendary pictures.

Well, let's just say we've been hustling behind the scenes to build some great relationships and partnerships. And we are super passionate about creating unique and top-notch playingcards, and we've put in the hard work to prove it with our previous projects. We don't want to stay in the safe zone too long, and that's why we almost spent all the savings from previous projects to make this happen

We're beyond grateful for the opportunity to bring this epic collaboration to life, and we hope our dedication and love for what we do shines through in the Godzilla x Kong and bring something new to the card industry.

Thanks for bringing up the idea of using pull strips in tuckboxes! It's really neat how concepts from children's books are making their way into deck designs. I can totally picture Godzilla firing a beam from his mouth with a pull strip – that would be epic! While we didn't incorporate that feature this time around, we'll definitely keep it in mind for future projects.

Your suggestion is awesome, and we're always looking for ways to bring joy and excitement to collectors and fans. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!

One more thing, as you talked about cool and special tuck, please stay tuned to the Anti-Faro next month, something is breathtaking for me is coming next month

Welcome back to this week's work-in-progress on our Patreon, everyone! We've been working our tails off for the highly anticipated Godzilla x Kong Playing Cards, and we're thrilled to announce that the launch is just around the corner this weekend. But before we dive into the excitement, let's go through some important points.

First and foremost, we have two special editions that will steal the limelight throughout the campaign. These editions feature the Room One signature Accordion Tuck Box and are strictly limited. Once they're gone, they're gone forever. The decks will be available in Pink Gilded and Gold Gilded options, with the cards adorned in stunning hot foil with either pink or gold accents.

Next up, we have a surprise in store—the Collector Box. This box is a brand-new design that we're unveiling for the very first time. We've incorporated a unique die-cut and box type that we've never used before, and we believe you'll absolutely love it. Inside the Collector Box, you'll find four decks, and just like the special editions, this is also a limited edition release. Don't miss out!

And now, for something truly exclusive. We're keeping it under wraps as a top-secret edition exclusively for BRICK BUYERS. We can't spill the beans on the exact details just yet, as we're still waiting for Toho & Legendary's final decision on the design. All we can say is that it will be ultra rare and a true collector's gem. If you're truly invested in this project, the Brick option is the way to go.

Best advice. There are too many of these traps with campaigns (and playing cards in general). I had to stop caring about these special decks early-on to avoid spending money due to FOMO.

Room One is definitely a rising star in the market that should not be underestimated. They have their own unique style, a clear vision, and now even IP? If they continue in this direction, I truly believe they will become a major player in the industry
