Here's a pretty nice Pirate deck. Done by Si'yann, a French illustrator and comic artist.
Already funded . Printed in France, hence the high price per deck at 19 Euro and 10 Euro shipping. First deck, but not 1st KS project so she's not completely new to KS.
Courts, Aces and Joker are very nice. Back could be better IMHO, considering how lovely the faces were done. Comments have asked for the numbers cards as well, she'll put them up soon.
I really like the overall artwork, but S17's EOTO has already plundered all my $ for March.

Re: Dead Man's Hand deck
The font on the front of the tuck makes it hard to read. Overall, a decent deck but one of those themes that has been executed enough times where my standards are very high.

Re: Dead Man's Hand deck
Reading the title "Dead Man's Hand" I was expecting an entirely different theme (Aces & Eights... though i'm pretty sure that just becomes another Wild West themed deck)
I supposed this theme fits pretty well too. BUT, as Kevork pointed out, there have been a TON of Pirate decks, Skull decks, and yes - Pirate/Skull decks!!!
It takes a lot for a deck to pick my pocket these days, and I would have liked to see:
>more color variation; this is close to monochrome
>More contrast in the art. maybe this is the same as above; I can tell that the artist is talented, but it all seems a bit muddied to me.
I give them props for coming up with new courts that are not the standard KQJ, but that alone doesn't do it for me.
Lastly, it's too bad this is all AI Generated art.
I kid, I kid.
[Edit: in response to people who think that UC is too harsh... this is just me expressing my opinion about a particular deck. that's what we're here for. I wish this project creator, and everyone who puts genuine time and effort into creating a deck, all the success in the world! ]

Re: Dead Man's Hand deck
"Dead Man's Hand" makes me think this would be a Wild West deck and I can't get over the disconnect. Agree with Kevork on this one.

Re: Dead Man's Hand deck
Yes we no doubt think of Dead Man's Chest for pirates (thanks to RL Stevenson - long before Pirates of the Caribbean)
Pirates do little for me while Westerns are my favourite genre by a country mile - Cowboy country that is
I would have bought this pirate deck if the full color version had ever happened

Re: Dead Man's Hand deck
i really like the art and theme for this deck despite the courts having the banner in the middle. the price is a bit high for me but i may be able to overlook it for a single deck. i sent the creator a message on KS asking about the tuck features as the pictures and text do not show or mention and tuck features. she replied that since the project has exceeded her goals she is getting information from suppliers to upgrade the features and that she would make an update when she decides what she can do.
