Another deck falling into the category post card collection instead of a deck of cards 🤷🏿‍♀️. Ironically they even upped the size of the cards. Just one stamp away from being best holiday wishes.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

Lol, these would make for some disturbing Christmas cards.

So when I set up this project, the box design I had in all the graphics was a first draft and a placeholder. While I love that photo on the cover, I didn't like that I was relying so heavily on licensed art as opposed to something I painted or a photo I took.

But I do love that photo.

I also noticed that the dark colors of the old version looked too similar to my other decks, Tarot By the Neon Light and the Goracle. So since Giallo means Yellow- let's lean into that.

Here's the new box design, complete with the new card back design:

Image

The woman on the cover is a digital painting I did and the skeleton on the back is a photo I took. I still have the licensed photo inside the box, and I've done a lot more digital manipulation to it. I'm very proud of this new design. It is bold, makes a statement, looks like a movie poster, and will stand out in a crowd of black tarot decks. I still need to work on the manual design, but it will be in a similar aesthetic to this box.
