Cute indeed and a nice tuck design. I'm not the target audience for that though.

these are up my alley design wise. nice tucks with all the features. foil on the cards, backs and faces. the ''gilding'' is a bit odd and will look odd when not in new deck order. pretty good for $20 each though. i am in for the 2 in 1 tier.

Is anyone else getting spammed to death with youtube ads for this deck, or did I just get super unlucky with the algorithm? This art just ain't my style, but seeing the same ads over and over again is even more obnoxious. Google clearly knows I'm a card addict, but some variety would be nice.

(don't suggest paying for youtube... been there done that... have a good reason not to!)

Not me, though that does sound better than whatever dreck I get for ads. They can ask me 10,000 more times, but I’m not going to start drinking cachava or whatever they call it…

curious on this. i pretty much watch only youtube and twitch these days an i find the 12 bucks or whatever for youtube premium great for me. an ad before nearly every video and then every 4 minutes thereafter was ridiculous.

I was going to comment on this but then I thought what if they're referring to their phone use.

Then I would say, if you have an android, Revanced is a way to go. If you have an iPhone, I'm not your guy.

On PC, I have not browsed the web without an adblocker in at least the last 10 years. I don't know how others survive without one as I think I'd go mad. Ublock Origin is open source and extremely effective.

Yes the ads are inconceivably annoying. MUCH more annoying than regular TV ads because they are more frequent, way too repetitive, and pop up without warning. I really hope Youtube begins to lose viewers because of it, but that's probably a lost cause.

I have limited experience with adblockers and don't really use them much. I have one, but no idea what it's actually blocking. I've read that Youtube is starting to or trying to punish people who use adblockers, but i'm not really the one to speak to that.

In any case, I used to have a youtube family premium account so that I could share ad-free viewing and music with my wife and our older parents (who are even less savvy than me). For 5 people I was happy to pay, even when they bumped the family price up to around $25/month.

But Youtube changed their policy and has restricted family accounts to a single household now    , and our parents don't live with us.

If that alone wasn't enough to make me cancel, my youtube addiction was the extra motivation. Now, i suffer through the self-imposed punishment (ads) until I can force myself to do something else... :ugthink:

It's definitely cut down the amount of time I spend on youtube. better for me; one less viewer for them!

i watch youtube on my smart tv nearly exclusively. i suppose i could go though all the nonsense to connect my computer to my tv and use ad blocker or whatnot. not sure it would be worth whatever amount of hassle for me.

The answer here is Pi-hole, but setting it up may indeed be a hassle

It's actually fun to setup but after getting a new router, I ended up not having the patience to do again. I highly recommend if someone wants a DNS-based adblocker that blocks ads across your entire network.

That sounds amazing. So I went to the link hsbc provided...

Step 1. Install a supported operating system
You can run Pi-hole in a container, or deploy it directly to a supported operating system via our automated installer.

And.... I'm lost already!

I'm worried about the tuck box design. Is the extra card on the frint not going to get easily bent? How do we store these alongside other decks?

I like the design, but on the fence seeing as I live in Japan and see these kinds of illustrations daily. They ae well drawn though.

Yeah, but those are for the standard editions. I"m interested in the Indigo Ronin Edition. Cards look great, just the box design looks impractical.
