card lovers in London

Unread post by Conturbia »

Hi, I will stay for a short time in London, the next weekend. Maybe I will have time to watch or buy something on Saturday..

Any suggestion for playing cards / related things?

Thanks!

The International Playing Card Society (IPCS) has listed a few playing card museum collections in the UK. 3 locations in London and one in Oxford. Getting in to see the cards looks rather complicated, except for the Victoria & Albert Museum where they seem to be part of the regular display. You can contact IPCS (mention you are a playing card collector) and ask what they recommend for your time constraints. Look for the IPCS Sectretary email at the bottom of the page: http://www.i-p-c-s.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The museums:

Glad to help :). When you get back could you give us an update on what they suggested you see and what it was like?
