This is what we have been working on for over a year now 😍. Beautifully illustrated, amazingly detailed, a wonderful tuck full of gold foil, embossing and tiny refined details. The amazing Boschiero & Newton worked with us to make this perfect, so stay tuned as this is coming soon!!

The Secret of the Sea.. a playing cards deck about the mysteries of the sea world, a deck that has a rich story and that is a logical continuation of our previous work. This story is deeply linked to the previously published world of The Elves and it has all the elements of a classic pirate tale.. stay tuned for much more!! In the meantime we feel like revealing some details here and there..

The S and the T in SecreT are harder to distinguish in my opinion.

This looks great though! I'll have to keep it on my radar.

Totally agree Kev, the S used for Sea is different and would be better (and the T looks weird, J-like)

Beautiful, but I can't help but feel the black & white art looks unfinished. Maybe because the pop of gold. Best looking tuck I've seen in a while.

Super promising. Love what we're seeing thus far, with the exception of the 'E' in 'Sea' being blown up for some reason. Am I missing something? I have brain fog after finals, but it look like that middle letter is getting emphasized with no discernible rationale. Make it as big as the others and I'm in.

Cowboys have to be Number One. Nothing beats a western movie/series as we get all that wonderful landscape in the background.

Thanks everyone for all the great feedback and comments!
Regarding the choice of the black and white line art: it is to have a very elegant project and the gold foil makes it pop-up even more.
Watch closely our instagram because on Christmas we will reveal something very interesting and once again, thanks so much for the positive vibes!

PS: We did not see there was a thread already about our project and thanks to the moderation team for the merge of the post.

The tuck looks great but once again the art style is likely going to keep me from backing the way it did with Elves.

Looks like you have plenty of support and I wish you nothing but the best. I’ll continue to look at future releases.

Merry Christmas everyone! Here is the post we shared on instagram with the colored version of our Secret of the Sea.

It's with extreme joy that we announce in our 100th post the special edition of our upcoming deck, the Secret of the Sea. The Blackbeard edition features coloured court cards and a different back, including different use of gold foil on all cards. It's a beauty to see and it will have holographic blue gilding, with a colour-changing tuck box. It's the ultimate edition of the upcoming deck. Enjoy the marvellous photos of Richard Arturo.

Very nice to offer the option, but imo, the pencil drawings with shiny accents are far superior. Something for everyone!

I'm disappointed that there is no 3-deck tier and that the normal deck cannot be added-on. Moreover, that the only EB tiers are 'all decks' and 'one deck'.

Ignore me, this is an incredibly entitled comment lol, but I figured I'd share my thoughts.

Hello PiazzaDelivery, thanks for your feedback!
You mean you wanted a reward with 3 standard decks? We thought that who wanted the standard deck could choose that one and add the gilded versions he/she wanted as addons. We also decided to have only 2 early birds because with the last campaign we had to send so many surveys that it was madness, and with too many rewards it was confusing. We had a lot of feedback to our first campaign and decided to make it easier for the supporters :)

Im in between getting all four decks or just one that I deemed the best of the best

I saw this series, the theme is the favorite, yet there’s just so many editions and so many gildeds

Too many editions made it hard for me to commit to one without feeling like I'm missing out on another. I decided to miss all of them instead.

Looks like the campaign is doing well for itself! Nice seahorses on the tucks.

Hello Kevork, thanks for your feedback. The idea was to have two main editions, one is black and white (deluxe edition) with an all gold tuck and one is the blackbeard that features colored cards, different backside and is also gilded. If we really had to pick 2 decks that are the core of the campaign it's those two. The other 2 feature gilding and different color combinations on the tuck, but you wouldn't be missing a different design inside, just our 2 cents if you are interested and want to be part of the adventure. Getting all 4 versions is an actual good deal as the gilded are printed in very limited runs are at the cheapest price and can become collectable.

I've come to realise that, while I love the gold on black and white, I'm not that keen on the subject matter; I'm out I'm afraid.

Hello!
For everyone who missed the original Kickstarter campaign, there are decks available on the official store of FRIS cards, that you can find HERE.

The cards have been shipped from WJPC to the USA and are arriving at the gambler's warehouse any day now. We have received some decks, and the amazing half brick box directly from China, and the result is absolutely stunning as can be seen in this VIDEO and POST

I'll wait for a sale that isn't asking 40-45$ for a gilded deck and 28$ for a non gilded. It will be interesting to see how the price of cards may go even higher if tariffs are applied. Will USPCC start seeing a lot more business? Could foreign companies set up shop in the states and result in cheaper prices? Hoping for the best because imo many producers are already charging too much.

Not with a 2500 MOQ.
