Hello everyone! I am delighted to present to you my very first card game, which I plan to launch soon on Kickstarter.
Allow me to give you some explanations to better understand the context.
The game is called "The Beard." There are many evenings games that use a traditional deck of cards. "The Beard" is one of those games where you take and give sips with fun challenges. These games are often passed down orally and everyone adds their own rules. The names vary depending on the regions, which can make understanding difficult, especially for those who are discovering the game and need additional explanations!
That's why I decided to make it a standalone game.
Each card design illustrates a specific rule, and I have included the corresponding rule on each card so that everyone can easily understand the game. I sought a balance between card comprehension and design. A manual will be provided to explain each rule in detail.
I have tried to create an original and different game. Please feel free to leave your comments, positive or negative, as I believe that any criticism can help me improve.

I tend to think that unless either you or the game already has an audience this will be an uphill climb on KS unless your funding goal is pretty low. (and consider what its going to cost you to produce it when you set that price).
As a deck of cards, Im just not "feeling it". The art corresponds to the game, on brand but not enough to bring in "playing card" customers. 1 color/card again, not really likely to draw in collectors.
Using the word "king" on the jack is a weird choice, I assume this makes sense in the game.

I cannot see it funding. I do not understand where 'the beard' comes into it. I really hate the framing of everything in what might be described as a reversed square S. The only positive thing I can say is - the tuck is OK
KoD - my initials, no wonder I grew up a lover of playing cards

My friends and I played this game relatively often in our late teens early 20s. Back then, would've bought 100 of these and distributed them.

Not familiar with the game, but drinking games in general are “back then” for me as well
